My pea-brain needs help! Would I be able to mix a batch of “base” (PG, VG and nic) how would I allow for the PG in flavors? Or can this even be done?
I don't allow for it at all. The little bit it changes my nic strength is ok with me.
I mix my base at 70vg/30pg and usually stick around the 10-12% flavoring mark. Take a look at your recipes that you normally use and increase your vg level to compensate for the pg flavoring percentage you plan on adding. I don't use my base for all of my mixing. Mostly if I'm mixing samples or sft.
So I finally got my neighbor to mix his first DIY bottle. Actually I did it to show him how but he was sitting next to me. He doesn't have a scale but I told him he doesn't need one. He will be mixing 100ml bottles so he can do volume mixing. I drew lines on a bottle he can use for measuring subsequent bottles. He wont make any other recipes in any other sizes so it works.
I mostly mix my base at 70VG/30PG so with around 10% flavor(s) I end up just over 60VG. Now that I have new flavors that are stronger I have a problem because I don't have any plain PG (another mistake I made) At the time, all I used was my MTL drop-in coil tanks... now I have different RTAs and need different base (including less nicotine) What's that phrase... "hindsight is 20/20"?
I have been wanting to try MB fantasy grape for a while now. I placed a chefs order but they were out of it. I ended up ordering that and MB yellow cake yesterday from wizard.

Now I read that the government wants to open everything up soon. I will be terrified of going to work. I guess I’ll just have to suck it up and wear masks and stay away from everybody.

Wanting to and actually doing it are 2 different things. I think he will abide by his med team of experts for that go ahead.
Depends on how precise your final mix needs to be.
My "target" is 65 PG and 18 mg/ml nic. Knowing that my flavorings are in PT, so will raise that and lower the nic a bit, I mix my base at 60PG and 20ml nic. Close enough for me.
BUT if you're at a really low nic, might not be such a good idea, as it might effectively turn out to be 0.0
Because all my mixes were for the same MTL tank, I use plain VG (70%) and 48 mg nic PG (30%) Worked great until I got the RTAs. I also have some 48 mg nic VG but need some plain PG too. I messed up (and should have got 100 mg nic)
haven't tried MB... please tell me if you like them and I will add them to my "best flavors" list.
