Our power is back on. We loaded up our food and took it to Mom’s freezer. They got their power on at 4 am. As soon as we came back home it was on. So it allowed me to clean the refrigerator and we went back and got everything and now all is well. I think our food will be fine. Now I need to get to work.
Happy for you, @*RJ*.

Some of the chocolates taste grassy and/or soapy to me but then there are a number of them that aren't too bad. Most of those are rather weak or have more of a tootsie roll or fudge flavor than strictly chocolate. They're good but as a dedicated chocolate addict I'm simply looking for a home run choco flavor. I admit I am being very picky when it comes to chocolate. Looking for chocolate rapture. :)
Me too. I like dark chocolate but then the ones I try are overkill and end up adding something creamy anyway. Going to try chocolate cheesecake today. I'm thinking I would like Smores but don't have marshmallow... any suggestions for one to try (I avoided using the word "Good"... see, I am learning)

@NolaMel as I sit here vaping my chocolate cake and toffee concoction, I am going to suggest a SMIDGE of toffee in your next attempt. At first I didn't like it until it steeped a fair bit, but it changes the flavor just enough that it might taste like chocolate for you, potentially.

After the brandy fiasco well I am not going to offer up a recipe but like, try 0.5 or even 0.25 of English toffee and see what it does. If you have some failed mixes, put some in one, you don't have much to lose at this point. It doesn't taste like toffee to me after steeping (to be fair, um, 2 months, LOL but you might need less time than that.) It tastes like chocolate-- with a bite.

It's coffee for me. Everything tastes like the sludge left at the bottom of the pot by a disgruntled coworker.
That too... I have a pre-made I love "Caramel cappuccino"... hope I can make something similar.
You can make coffee naturally extracted but just like tobacco, you need a really good filter.

I can't agree more about taste being subjective. Everyone should remember that.
When I started diy, I thought it would work like how I pictured people making commercial juice (yes, forgetting absolutely the piles of bottles of that I bought and hated). I would come up with what flavors I wanted to put together, wave my magic wand, and *POOF*!!!, the perfect juice that anyone would love :lol::lol:
Man, got that bubble popped pretty quick!

When ever I find a chocolate recipe that appeals to me, I sort of follow it, but I always add a drop or two of cocoa
I've been doing that too (I like dark chocolate) Too bad I found out it's a "coil gunker"... but at small amounts should be OK.
Maybe I should just mix coffee and chocolate (with caramel)?

Maybe I’ll give that a tiny try. I think I have every caramel/toffee/butterscotch for some reason. Good excuse to try the toffee.
My all time favorite candy is a chocolate covered toffee. Partly, I’m afraid a vape won’t live up. IRL, toffee does have a bite to it to me. Worth a try. Ty :)

All you need is coffee filters. I used to extract most of my own coffee flavor.

You know I am late to the party on ah, conversations and I think S&S has me on ignore. But if I'm allowed to have nervous breakdowns on here, well I can't IMAGINE why a little inter-thread discussion would be a PROBLEM.

LOL the husband has been looking at land and houses and stuff and well.... I think it's going to have to occur. We found a very cool property in St, David which is ALSO cool but like, land may be a problem as would possibly Dragoon. It's great to get 30 acres for 20K but then you need to drill a well, and make a septic tank and some sort of access to the property if you don't want to build your house RIGHT against the highway as many people do, which like, now I have figured out why people do it. Because then all THAT is like expensive and well, there are many options modular homes and steel frames and whatnot but like,, I would just die, I think.

St. David's is where I wanted to live, and there are some neat places. My poor mother like, is going to have to loan us 20K I think. She'd probably just GIVE it to me, honestly. I could tell her to take it out of the will, but if the husband can do what he thinks and the contractor doesn't suck completely, I think we could sell it at some point, which would be awesome. The husband was talking about fixing our old abode and then MOVING it and I was like, "Eww... I saw the house video I am never going back I don't care what you say about encapsulation." (Mentally.) But I was like WHY? He was like "it would save money." I was like, "Okay, you forgetting about the MORTGAGE there honey?" I need to take out a personal loan fast like within a week before they figure out I am on disability and etc. The interest wouldn't be the greatest, but it also wouldn't be AWFUL.

Buying a house with a personal loan sounds so WEIRD really, but like, obtaining a mortgage with the house we still have? It's not like doable even slightly I don't think. Mortgage lenders tend to frown on two people on disability with a house in ruins and like, LOL.

IDK I guess we'll see. I really dug some of those places and I would love to be peaceful. We'd have 3 months to move everything and stuff because we have to be here and I may need to interact with my work and stuff.

My sisi was all "I will get to this stuff like this afternoon!!! She cracks me up. She loves it when a family member desires her legal advice but even more so she is SENSIBLE. I mean she's like "legal jargon blah blah blah, but Anna, this is what it is going to do to YOUR LIFE. Do you really want to and like ,etc., etc."

She says if you want to be miserable for about 5 years, you should sue someone, anyone, even the kid's parents with the lemonade stand that used poor lemons and makes you sick. She is like the least sue happy lawyer I know,.

I mean I think she's probably right, and well, you know. But her time is worth hundreds of dollars an hour. I wish mine was. Oh well maybe with like, a private practice it may be but frankly most private practice folks make less than those who work for agencies unless they are so good, like, they can say "Here is your 200 bill and sure, you can submit to insurance if you would like. I don't help. Good luck." LOL.

I'm missing something here. Probably missing a lot:lol: If you are both on disability as you just said I really don't see how you can get a loan to buy a house??

I got some premix coffee when I first started vaping. I loved it but my wife hated the second hand aroma so I had to give up coffee vapes.

    Ever going to try again?

Maybe I should. Back then the wife had just quit using Chantix and she only took an occasional hit of zero nic to take the edge off when she started thinking about cigarettes. Now she vapes more than me so she might be less sensitive to downwind flavors. I had to drop the honey tobacco flavors as well. Although I gave my bottle of honey tobacco to the grandson and when he vaped it I found the aroma a bit obnoxious myself.

No mango lassi in the blog as yet. I talked about wanting a recipe for it a while back; maybe I'll give it a try next time I mix. Cardamom would be essential to do it right.
I found this on ATF... uses coconut (optional) but no Cardamom (I would try some myself)
    (FA) Mango 2.5%
    (FA) Cream fresh 0.5%
    (SC) Mango 2%
    (CAP) Super sweet 0.5%
    (FLV) Sweet coconut 0.25%
    (FW) Yogurt 2%
You could also try (FLV) Mango (and leave out the sweetener) and of course:
    (FA) Cardomom

It certainly can’t hurt to try. If she still objects to it and you really enjoy it maybe a small fan would be in order?
