Trying out OSDIY Succulent Strawberry today, courtesy of the wonderful @JCinFLA. Curious to see how it compares to my regular TFA Strawberry. Thank you JCinFLA :)
I like a number of strawberries including those two.

Good morning. Mom called and said Dad collapsed early this morning and the paramedics came and said he had a blockage (he's been having heart issues). They took him to the hospital. So now we sit here not knowing anything and can't go be with him. Just awful. This was my worst fear. I'm trying to figure out how to gain information about him. Of course with HIPPA they won't tell you anything. I think I'll bathe and get dressed and go sit with Mom for a bit. It's awful not being able to be there. He didn't have his glasses or his hearing aids so he can't see or hear anybody and with none of his family there to help. When I'm there for his procedures everything is better for him. You can even tell these people he can't hear and they still low talk so if I'm there I get 'er done. Just wish I could be there for him.

I'm so sorry, RJ:( That doesn't sound pleasant for your Dad at all. Prayers that he'll be back home soon.

Darn it, RJ, not good. Hope things turn around for him. Any chance you could get staff to at least get him his ears and eyes? :nun:

Masks. I made a mess of 'em, for us and the kids. Used the "Olson mask" pattern, with filter pouch (but no filter.) It calls for the elastic to be sewn in, but I made a slight change. After assembly, I sewed "tubes" into the ends and just thread the elastic through. So when it loses stretch, easy to replace. And easy to change the length, as well. And also easy to change from over the ear to a longer behind the head strap if desired.

    And, uh, happy weekend?

Nurse called me. They put a stent in his heart and he feels better. I could hear him talking/bragging about me in the background. Nurse said he can come home tomorrow. He told Mom he feels better than he has in a long time. The blockage was probably causing all his problems. He had stress tests and other things but I guess he didn't have a blockage at that time? Anyway, he's fine.

Happy moving day @rosesense ! Good luck and I hope it goes smoothly.

Dd is in the process of making a bunch of masks with the filter pouch also. She does have the filters also.

Good luck. I hope he’s going to be alright. Hopefully at least your mom can get some information on him.

Wow, I had no idea someone could be released that quickly after something like that.
