I very much don't like spiders but don't kill every one I see. If they are outside then that's their territory but once they come inside then they are fair game. We get a lot of cob webs in our basement and I need to go look for some indoor safe spray to use down there. I'm about the only one that goes down there regularly since my workout equipment is down there. I get tired of cleaning cobwebs every other time I go down.

My plans for the day is to organize some of vape stuff and put bins in the closet. I have to finish the unpacking, clearing the garage and most of it is vape stuff. Geez

I need to do some of that myself but didn't get around to it this weekend. I have two tubs of stuff where one is organized and a list made and the other just has stuff randomly thrown in. I'm not even going to get into the other five or six cardboard boxes full of stuff.

    Good morning Folks !!!

Dog and I got up real early for our walk. Early is better for us with the 90's and mega thick humidity. Got some house cleaning done, dishes and laundry. Getting ready to test some mixes I have going, fingers/toes crossed.

Other than that, just chillin'/relaxin' in the AC!!! :D

Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up I noticed I was late
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Made my way upstairs and had a [vape]
And everybody spoke and I went into a dream

Chef's has new Wonder Flavors included Aged Bourbon Cream.

They called theirs "Bourbon Aged Cream". I wonder if it's the same recipe though, or not. I'm betting it's not, and that's why they switched the words in the name around...to avoid confusion with the original ABC. I also wonder about the new "Southern Sweet Tea"...since OSDIY has had a really good one that Kim's husband Shane developed several years ago.

LOL I kind of hope not, I was talking about the bad kind of exciting like spending four hours bare handed in toilets.

I am all ready to go except my vapes, and those are pretty easy, although I am sick of getting them "perfect" and then blah, nothing. We do not leave. It's exhausting. So, I really hope that stupid check and perhaps MINE arrive today.

I have not heard from the credentialers although I have sent them information.

Me and the husband are just pretty much distracting ourselves, waiting. If it gets to be too late, I will just start in on yoga. It's been impossible to rouse the mortgage company but everyone takes like, Monday off after 4th of July independence day.

Ok folks,i know this might be out there as in it's a bit crazy but recently I've tried to read up on some ''sound'' related studies.

I use to DJ and i did work in the radio for a lot of years so anything related to music usually gets me interested.

So i came upon this today,it's a publication from 2016:

''Ultrasonic processing of a variety of liquids, drinks and beverages has generated much interest with published literature papers increasing within this area in recent years. Benefits include enhanced emulsification with improved homogenization and fat globule size reduction being recorded. In dairy systems increased creaming rates are observed on sonication in a process known as fractionation. Whilst fruit juices exhibit retention or enhancement of quality parameters whilst increasing levels of bioactive compounds. Sterilization of liquids is a large feature of ultrasonic treatment with microbial activity of a range of fruit juices being monitored over time as increased stability and reduced spoilage is observed. Progress has also been made towards scale up of ultrasonic processes with several examples of batch and continuous processes being studied with reduced processing times and temperatures being quoted as a result of ultrasonic treatment. This short review covers the effect of sonication on liquids and beverages with a specific focus towards dairy and fruit juices and covers emulsification, fractionation, sterilization and some pilot scale initiatives.''

I'm not a science guy so it took me 2 hours of study, using google and 2 aspirins to try and make some sense out of it.

    Then i also read this:

    Sonochemistry - Wikipedia

It got me thinking, could a vaping e-liquid have it's properties changed with the use of Sonochemistry?

I know i know it's like ''out there'' but thinking about it some crazy ideas come to mind.

Imagine an odorless 60ml of e-liquid,you put it in front of a speaker and depending on the decibels used on said e-liquid you could actually affect a change on it.
Maybe less decibels would trigger the e-liquid to just release a small hint of a flavor but also when blasted at high decibels you could get a more potent flavor.

This article right here does seem promising:

How Sound Can Make Food Taste Better - Facts So Romantic - Nautilus

Maybe it's a weird topic to bring here to the DIY thread but i thought it might be interesting.

I just tested a couple of my milk chocolate experiments.

#1 has FLV Milk Chocolate (main) - it's very good and chocolatey. Added a tad more FLV MC for a more richer choc flavor. I am very impressed with FLV Milk Chocolate.

#2 has WF Chocolate Chunks (main) - last testing this had more of a cocoa taste. Not at all what I am after. I added a tiny bit of VT Dark Chocolate to cancel/balance that out. It's much much better now w/the dark chocolate added, cocoa taste is gone. Back on track. Also very good and chocolatey.

VT White Chocolate brought that milky creaminess aspect to both and adds to the overall main chocolate flavor. Both 1 & 2 have that nice juicy thing happening like when you pop a real piece of milk, or dark, chocolate in the mouth. That has to be the FLV Sweet Coconut.

I wouldn't hesitate to make up larger batches of both as is. They're tasty. Pleasing. Are they milk chocolate? Not quite, but I think they are getting closer. So, still working on them.

2 others are still in the steep. Can't wait to test those. This is fun. :)

Fran, if I was looking to add a very light butter aspect, what would you suggest???
I don't want to go full on butter flavor but some of the real milk chocolate recipes do use actual butter.

I know a dash of FA Walnut will lend a light buttery aspect but what else???

Any and all ideas welcome!!! :D :D
