I know. I just really wanted an excuse to bring up biscuits and gravy. Any conversation about biscuits and gravy is a good conversation.

Good thing you didn’t bring up bacon. We would have had some stomachs grumbling.

I love biscuits and gravy. I mastered making it. Hubs never thought he would like it (many years ago). Sadly, I can't eat it anymore (Atkins diet) but I'm trying to develop a low carb version.

When I was pregnant I would go sample biscuits and gravy. I lived near Springfield Mo at the time. It was the only food I could eat. Even fast food had it on the menu. I was so lucky! Up here in the tundra of WI it is a rarity to find it. It's so easy to make. My mom (before she passed) would always ask for me to make it for her. I swear she wanted me to travel 600 miles so she could have a decent meal.

I finally made 100mL of Turkish tobacco tonight. I need to mix more but too tired.

I don't really eat bread at all, but I will make a special exception and have biscuits and gravy every few months. With a side of hashbrowns. Because, if I'm gonna eat a bunch of carbs, I'm gonna do it right!

Always keep the china!! It's the most durable of all dish varieties!!

No, not the China ITSELF! I love my 12 person plate setting with like every serving dish known to mankind, and I got it crazy cheap! I mean, it's not super old or anything but we lived right near 2 retirement communities and they would harvest all the dead people stuff and that is where we got it from.

The China HUTCH/Display cabinet whatever. It's okay and all and it was given to me by a pal but like, I said to the husband, "Can you build me a better on than that?" he was like "Yep." I was like "Junk it." As little big furniture as possible man. So like we are gonna sit down and organize and calendar and whatnot tomorrow.; All papers have been signed now it is just the "wait it out time."

God I'm tired. I also have henna on my head I am going to leave it on overnight and see what happens.. I don't need enough chaos yet, I guess. I want to kind of be... methodical tomorrow. The husband has agreed we most get moving.

    Anna

ETA: The MIL gave the husband her china one set it's like 6 generations in or something nuts and like handmade and it showed up from like China or whatever. I don't think I even know what that set looks like. I am certainly not touching it.

I don't envy you living here during Harvey. We moved here right after Harvey and there was damage all over the place! We didn't do the battery packs, but I wish we would have gotten them. Thank goodness the power came back on a couple of hours ago. Three transformers blew in our neighborhood, so it took longer to get our power back up than it did in other neighborhoods.

I was living in Beeville at the time, so I was far enough inland for the hurricane not to have been too bad, but the electricity was out for three days.

Why were they so hard to find? Is it because they are older tanks?

I'm gonna add some info, too, because there were several obstacles to not only finding them, but actually getting them. In May 2016, the Siren 2 was due to come out soon, and US vendors were sold out of Siren 1's. I'd had no interest in a Siren 1...until reading the thread about them, describing how good they were, but how hard they were to find then. @JustWondering1 definitely wanted more, and her enthusiasm for them just "rubbed off" on me somehow, while PMing back and forth with her. That was all it took, and we started searching. After a lot of dead-end searching, found some on DHGate and we both celebrated. Ordered $300 worth (including S/H) for the 2 of us. Was notified a week or 2 later that the seller actually didn't have any and couldn't get any. (Took almost 3 months, many emails back & forth, promises made and broken by them, etc...to get the $$ back.) During that time we'd found sellers in Canada who had them, but couldn't convince them to ship to the US. We thought that was it...we'd never get any. I finally contacted a very nice ECF member from Canada, who agreed to order them and have them delivered to him. He went out of his way to rebox them, do the Customs paperwork, and ship them to me. I then reboxed and sent hers on to her. Was a very long, drawn out quest...but we both finally ended up with the Siren 1's we wanted. :)

I’ve still got a couple of those sitting in storage with a couple clone top tanks. I bought a couple hundred of the Clapton coils when they were on clearance for pennies. I’m not currently using them but figured it was cheap insurance for the deeming regulation coming. I also picked up 20 rba kits for my old crown tanks. Those were my favorites for a long time.

I have one that I know of, and a bunch of Aerotanks. And GS tanks and Mega eGo tanks with CLR coils... :) I really need to go through all those vapocalypse boxes--I'm afraid of what I may find there.

Hi all, I hope all is well with all of you. Once again, I took a long break from posting and there is a reason for that. Anyway, I am posting today for opinions on Aegis mods. I have two Solos and I do like them. I am thinking of buying a dual battery Aegis mod and am having trouble deciding between the Legend and the X. I love my Asmodus Minkin V2s but keep having problems with the magnets on the battery doors. It would be one this if I could just replace the magnets but the plastic that holds the magnets in place is breaking. I have had this happen on four Minikins and am just tired of it. I am not hard on mods so don't really understand. Since the Aegis mods are supposedly indestructible, maybe that is the way to go. The question is - which one?

I know there are opinions here and I await. LOL

Hi PJ and welcome back! I have two Asmodus mods--Colossal and Tribeaut. They are great mods, but I don't reach for them very often. The interface is fussy on the Colossal. I really like my Aegis Solo. I like it so much that I'm getting more. Ergonomically designed, very comfy to handle, simple, and do TC well, if that's of interest to you.

    Good luck!

    ETA: n/m n/a ;)

I honestly haven't seen a whole lot of reviews for it yet, but the ones I have are pretty good. But then I have to wonder, how biased are some of the reviewers on some of the sites? That is why I always like to hear what people on forums say about products.

I don't know how biased or not they are, but they get sent a sample, open the box, build and vape--everything works well for an hour or a day. Then the warts show. I do watch video reviews by the reviewers I trust, but then I verify here, where the RW users post their experiences. :D

I know you like your Precisio, but they seem one of the harder to find ones. It is glad you have found one that you can consider your everyday tank.

I agree. They are harder to find and replacement parts are almost impossible to find--like a replacement tube. Not good for Vapocalypse, IMHO.

Also, I don't like ultem, the threads are wonky, and it's plastic, but that's just personal preference. I want glass and steel. :D

You can definitely get a loose MTL with the HellVape MD. You can get a great tight MTL with it too.
It's one of my favorite RTAs ever! It's reliable, not a leaker, has great flavor and a wide range of air flow options. I think they're around $22 or $23 at Fast Tech but you can buy them at Element too.

Funny you should say that. I've had it in and out of my various carts several times. I've seen too many complaints about leaking, filling (tight, you have to remove the DT) that I finally decided against it. But I'm happy it works for you. Looks like there are some QC issues with this tank.

I decided to go with Dwarvs and Tripod instead. My favorite atty was Hastur 3.5ml, but it's been discontinued...

I want to get the Ares 2 but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. The reviews I've seen say the flavor is great. I bet your issue is with too much wicking. I've noticed it can sometimes take 24 hours with a new wick for the flavor to be at it's best.

I have. Hoping it arrives safe and sound before Thanksgiving. ;)

Checks all the boxes for me--on paper. 24mm diameter, glass, ss, and easy to build. Fingers crossed.
