I’ve given that some thought myself. I’ve been with my company for 23 years. I sometimes think about doing something else.
It’s shocking. And exhausting. I only did it for less than a week and I was tired. But it’s eye opening. It will track calories, carbs, fat, protein, sugar, etc. When I was a fitness freak my diet was boring. So I made meal plans using the app and just stuck to those plans so it was easy.

I am strong (not so sure about mom... she seems OK but might have trouble actually following through on this) It is what is is and she (the cat) lived a very good life
We (most of us here) know exactly what you're going through. We've been through this several times. There are no words that we can say that will make it any easier for you. Except, you'll be OK, eventually, and your mom, too, knowing that the pet you've loved for years is not suffering any longer.
OH I SO DON'T. Who was it that was so excited for me? Can you come take over PLEASE? OH my GOD I AM going to KILL my husband. Here's hoping there is a psych unit in or near Clarksville, with a pet, with a.... Oh my God I took a trip like this once only it was in COLLEGE and I did not have much STUFF with me and I could DRINK and like, I STILL ended up breaking up with the ex fiancé!
So first, the husband tells me we are leaving on SATURDAY, not Friday, because he's "getting the truck Friday" at noon or something and we have to go to Sierra Vista to get it. I gave him my "I will CUT you like a LASER" eyes and DUDE, he was all, I think we could make it in 3 days. It took about 50 minutes of arguing before like, he figured out what ROUTE he wanted. In MY opinion he chose the DUMB one but like, he is driving the truck, I kept explaining HE needed to choose. Then it came time to LIKE pick a place and it was like he's lost his mind or something I was like "DUDE we are not going to get through DALLAS on day one that's like 20 hours." Then he was like, "Well maybe we shouldn't rent a place at all we should just see." I kept mentally ticking off the days I would have to SHOW up, sane and presentable, and trying not to CRY.. SO then he wanted to know if I we should reserve the week's kitchenette thing now and I was emphatically nodding YES and I was like, ARGGGH IT IS FOR A WEEK YES!!!!!!
And then we saw an apartment and it took pets but it was a year's lease. I was like, "They are ALL year leases dude, lets just LEASE something we can drive RIGHT to it and unpack and not deal with a storage shed and they can check our credit and we will have somewhere to LIVE and we will not be renting a storage space and UNPACKING the entire truck only to REPACK it a day later AND THIS IS ALL HAPPENING LESS than TWO WEEKS FROM WHEN WE start my job.
I just want to slit my wrists and frankly I am OFF to go smoke a cigarette it is either that or freaking KILL the husband. I mean NORMAL people say "The truck is here Thursday" That means YOU LEAVE THURSDAY. Not ohhhhh Saturday if I get AROUND to it ARRGHHHH!!!!
HE said we world get there early LESS Than two weeks in a hotel is NOT EARLY NOT EVEN A TINY bit and ALSO NO HOUSE OR ANYTHING.
I really then he was like "You can drive on ahead., I could follow in the truck."
I was like "I hate you. No, you aren't absconding with the house money you are going to have to watch me die right in front of your eyes. SORRY."
Mr. "We will plan it out and get there early and blah bla blah.
Yeah if you don't hear from me I have died of the stress of doing THIS with NO FREAKING respite UNTIL the very day I walk into work and my head explodes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They will be. For one thing, you won't be dealing with two houses. For another, you won't be unpacking everything until you get to your real house.
Oh I get over it, I just usually have these freak-out meltdowns due to stress. I am not what you would call a "graceful mover" nay, not on the dance floor, and CERTANILY across county it's never good.
At least like this time I'm not trying to escape with gypsies, tossing my wedding ring into cornfields, and jumping out of moving vehicles.
I'm over it. I know the husband is trying his best I know that. I just had to have a meltdown. I wouldn't take anything I say at the moment with too much seriousness or anything. I mean I FEEL IT IN THE MOMENT but then logic reasserts himself somehow.
I plan AS IF It makes my life oh so better it so doesn't.

Here's hoping you have a good trip Anna! On our trips we like to see how far we get and then call a motel a hour or two ahead. Always worked for us.
We do the same; besides, I suspect that motels and hotels will not be completely booked right now. I don't suppose a lot of people are taking trips with their families, but who knows.
I stayed Saturday night in a hotel in the Kansas City area. It was definitely not anywhere close to full capacity. That hotel is normally pretty booked on the weekend too. I expect it will be that way for the travel industry for a while.
Good morning. I did the mowing yesterday and today is babysitting day so not sure what else I will accomplish. If I ever get finished unpacking and have the yard sale, maybe I can mix again.
