With TC, don't you also have to read the cold coil first to lock in the ambient temperature and only afterward do all the temperature and wattage setting?

Depends on the mod. I use geekvape products and eleaf sometimes. I have no problems setting either one. Just know how your mod controls work for each one.

I made a big pot of sauce the other day. I've taken to cooking it in the oven. It's great: no need to worry about scorching.

This sauce will go into the freezer (I really don't have room in the freezer). I'm not giving up my nicotine space!

I had better not be saying that at the end of the day Monday dude. I've already got the recruiter and my supervisor squabbling over me and when they can have me and when I "need" to arrive.

Frankly, I was told 8 to 4:30 I'm not thrilled that like, it will be 7:30 to 4:30 and I most certainly hope I get to leave at like, 3:30 but I'm thinking not. I think there are not enough SW at the moment. Like, a lot.

Oh well nothing like learning on the fly I guess. As long as there are no "coups" on my first day.

I AM SO TIRED you would think REDUCING Ambien would not cause that but to be fair, I guess it could be all the time zones, madness, horror and just INSANITY. LOL.

Her mother was an albino Diamondback Terrapin, so she has a 66% chance of producing albinos as well.. I also have her sister. Albino diamondbacks are very very rare. Most of these get shipped to China. Diamondback Terrapins are real popular there and the Chinese pay top dollar for them. The only reason I was able to obtain two is because of Covid. China's not taking any legal importation of reptiles right now.

FWIW, I bought 4 Solos recently. I have other regulated mods, don't even know how many, some are still in unopened boxes, but I do feel that those new(er) mods are so much better--they fire fast, there's no lag, and they do TC so well (if that matters to you). I never wanted to (or was clever enough) to deal with all those firmware downloads and such. I like mods that work out of the box, and Solo is just one such mod. So is the Colossus, BTW, even though I'm not a big fan. I don't like the fire button.

I will probably get a couple I think. I love that size mod. My (dud) colossal did not impress me it seemed cheap and nasty. I have enough 2 battery mods (I got 8 Eleaf Invokes in the Closet with Tom Cruise.

My family thanks you for this Even with this pandemic, convalescent plasma is used for treatments.N80 is watts only. It's 80% Nickel, and chromium. The 'N' for temperature control is referred to as Ni200.

Wattage mode only I believe.. I tried temp control with SS 316 and felt I needed an engineering degree to get it to work properly.

Only thing to know about temp control is the temp you set on the mod===the mod will not allow the temp to go any higher. Period. That way if you then lock down the controls you won't ever have a burnt taste from the button getting pushed by accident. an example=you are not sure where to set it so you up it by a couple of degrees until you hit your sweet spot --that is where you leave it. Nothing to it. No magic formula needed. The mod continues to allow vaping but does not allow the temp to increase past the degrees you have set on the mod.

ps well--you do have to know what type of wire you have and set that also but it is easy to do also.

I tried that and there was a little more to it than just setting the temperature, especially if you have a device that doesn't automatically set the watts when the temp is set.

Here's a typical rundown of what was required and I followed it all to the letter, but still got a vape that was not satisfactory to me.

I continued to adjust it till I reached a temp of 480 degrees and still got a little puff of vapor. I know I am doing something wrong, but I could not figure out exactly what it was.. I was told over in the TC forum not to go higher than 480, is that wrong?

Any tips? I really wouldn't mind getting the hang of it to be honest.

It's like any other charges against someone in court. Normally you can plea bargain to get the charge reduced but no in our case. Basically the speed overage was too much to be able to plea bargain.



Along with setting the temperature, are you setting the max wattage? I usually go a little higher on wattage than what I normally vape at then work the temperature up until I like it. Some mods are better than others at it.

I had similar issues and it kind of depends on the Mod being used in TC but:
1) Make sure that your coil is at room temp before you even try
2) Modify your mod so that all Boost/PreHeat settings are either disabled or at their lowest setting
3) Depending on mod, lock your coil resistance before you start. On DNA's there is no need to do this. Not sure about the other two high end TC chip sets has a need, don't have either.
4) Set the mod for 316(L), NI200 or TI
5) Set your temp for like 380-400 F to start out with.
6) Set your Watts to like 30-40 watts to start out with.

If weak, Adjust your temp up to see if that helps. If you go to 480 F stop, reduce your temp back and increase your watts by 10. Repeat.

That seemed to work for me. Different coil metals on the same mod/atty, I play a similar game. Mostly I think it has to do with the TCR rating for a given coil metal based on what the mod defaults that to for 316(L), NI200 or TI vrs. what the coil actually is.

This should get you in the ball park. Once you feel better about TC, you can then start to play with TCR settings, etc. Again based on you mods ability.

Hope this helps a little. It is nice once you get it working for your tastes. I still have to play with it once in a while.

Wattage mode... don't confuse it with Nickel (Ni200 I think) Ni80 (nichrome) is only wattage mode. As far as I know (and I dont' even use temp control) only SS can do both.

First let me say I use titanium coils 99pct of the time. Ocassionally I use ss. My aegis max can be set to hit as hard as I like. Example- my red one is set to 360 degrees with a .28ohm wire wrapped 5-6 times. The watts is 25 and tcr is set to 450. I have been as high as 500 on some mods. Depends on the juice. And yes you need one if you want a more real like cigarette hit.
