Ah - Another "Random" Mornin' . . . Okay let's see - "Plans for the day". . . 1) Already on the first of 3 mugs of coffee, so I can, 2) Wake-up and get "My" brain working properly , then 3) there is the morning News, 4) Morin' Meds and the NEED to 4) SSS to prepare for the day that really involves appoinments for the day at 12:30 PM with, 5) Physical Therapist (at apt) then go to, 6) Podiatrist, and after that to the 7) USPS to ship a package . . . That is supposedly all the plans I have to do before 3 PM . . . As for the rest of the day, that's all up in the air - except for the obligatory "pit-stops"; vaping and of course checking in on ECF to read all about everyone's obcessions for the day. . . . Well Ya' Did Ask . . . :img:

    Just Sayin' . . .

I put my cleaned bottles and tanks away, Also found the recipes I need. I want to do something simple with the lemon cake also. A shower is up next and then I'll finish mixing.

You could just do a two flavor test with the lemon cake and your favorite cream. I would think that would tell you if you like it or not.

Good morning all! So I caved in a bought the grey pearl Aegis Max from Eightvape. The only two colors they had left in stock (grey pearl and red phoenix) were the two colors I liked the most. So either I have bad taste in style, or everyone else does.
I have the Aegis Max grey pearl, I think it looks pretty good, but that's a matter of taste.
I tried the Max with the 21700 at 80 watts and it held up quite well, ran about 9 ml's through it.
It gives the Sigelei dual battery 18650 a run for its money.

Good to hear. I will be using the smaller battery option with the adapter myself. But only vaping at 12-14 watts, I imagine it will do alright.

    Morning, randomixers ;)

Yard work. We're into the start of cutting back season. Wife's been doing that for a couple days, so I have 27 wagons full of debris (apologies to Tennessee Williams) to pick up and get near the burn pit. Where the mountain will grow until at least late September when the burn ban usually goes away.

But the chap does have a lot of stashed mods, toppers and nic ;)

I have been eyeing the aegis boost plus since I never got one for review which I thought was weird because myself and another person that does reviews got a package from geekvape at the same time and he got the boost plus and I did not. Anyway, after thinking that I wasn't going to buy one, I ordered one last night. It was the only mod in the Aegis line that I did not have and wanted to complete the collection. I'm going to need to place one more order for coils for the sceptre and that should be about it. If only I could decide which ones I like best. I have an extra pod and 1.2 coils so tonight I'll load the other pod with a different liquid and try the 1.2 again.
How do you like the Aegis Pod?

In theory I could retire any time, but I'm one of those sick puppies who likes what they do for a living.

I'll probably keep working until I'm 62 (16 mo away), by which time covid19 will hopefully no longer be an issue, so DW and I can have some fun traveling.

morning...ug still trying to wake up

Happy early birthday then. When I was 39 I didnt feel too bad either lol. :D

When I was 46, I got divorced and lost everything I owned except my clothes. 11 yrs later I still dont have much more than that. So 46 really sucked for me. Not to mention most of the years following that. But I'm still here.
I understand that one...except that I was 24.....left my husband, which meant I left everything as we owned a tobacco store together...had no home, no job and a lil one to take care of (not his kid but he did love her in his own way)...he didn't really want commitment....he wanted to be "single" and still be able to come home to someone waiting for him and taking care of him....
in his defense, he was a recovering alcoholic, to which he never told me....and well....after the first year of our marriage one of his cousins moved close to us and they were out partying almost every night....he was not a good man when drinking...he couldn't even run our business anymore, I was working the store all the time and trying to take care of my kid and the house...the cheating was bad enough, but the first time he laid a hand on me was the end of it all...he knew what my daughter's father put me through and yet when drunk he could not control his anger.....one day I just left....left a note on the table with the keys to the store and the house, took what I could carry and walked out... I fought too hard for my daughter's sake to get away from her father, I was not about to watch a good man destroy himself further and drag us down with him...I tried so hard to get through to him, but...sometimes you just can't help someone...and I had to put my daughters welfare first
I mixed my 3 new recipes, more Rhubarb Custard, and more peppermint. I have 3 more remixes to do but I have to find the recipes. Took a break to rinse out all my soaking bottles and tanks. Almost feel like I accomplished something
    rhubarb custard sounds interesting

yeah see, I never really feel old (except for this year, I really do, my legs have just decided that nope apparently I don't need them anymore) .... but usually I don't feel old until I remember my kid's b'day :p
*sigh* she'll be 19 the end of september (lol yeah there were a lot of bets that I'd have her on my b'day....stinking kid wasn't supposed to be due til around thanksgiving or late october earliest...but start of august, anytime I did anything I'd start having contractions....had to quit my job  it was bad enough that I didn't find out I was pregnant until almost 4 months pregnant, didn't really have any symptoms per say, doctor just kept passing it off as my low immunity and such, until the baby bump appeared... and then she had to be a premie, I had no time to prepare)

    and I'm off rambling....shutting up now :p

I made one with lemon cake and blueberry and some sweet cream. Pretty tasty. There's not much lemon flavor from the lemon cake, at least not for me.

I retired from computer software when I was 50. Burned out and couldn't keep up with the 20 something Zuckers. Goofed around for a few years having fun, but then I got bored and got a job as a handyman. Did that for 12 years and retired at 65. Got bored after a few months and took another job and retired again at 68. By that time I was ready for it. You know when it's time.

That's when it gets to be fun, knowing that you can, on any given day, give them notice of retirement. I retired at 62 from my job as a hydro-electric plant electrician, and was in that lovely spot for 4 years before I bailed. Nope, didn't have to put up with any carp during that time! Too much of that, and they get 30 days notice (to satisfy the retirement board) ;) But after 28 years there (and many more as a shipyard electrician before), I was just getting tired of the task, and started wondering how long my "luck" would hold working 110,000 volt systems.... and whether or not a "senior" moment with my arms in a high voltage cabinet would be my end...

Winning on the big cloupor contest on ecf is what got me into modern mods. I still have that one, it still works fine [emoji3]

People I met on the cloupor thread got me into home roasting. I'm drinking a PNG right now, roasted this morning,
