Do you take everything out when you defrost?

Yes. I always do it before the ice on the ceiling gets thick enough to grab the top of the bottles. I could fit 1/4L bottles on my top shelf but with only 1/4" clearance the ice would lock them up pretty fast. Then you would have to wait for the ice to melt which would take a while and the nic would warm up too.

Once you take everything out let it sit for 20 minutes. Enough heat will get through the top of the freezer to loosen the ice on the ceiling to where you can pop it off with the plastic scraper. Likewise the walls though not as much builds up on the walls for some reason. Once the sheets of ice are off you can clean up the small pieces and the moisture with a paper towel. It's a lot less messy if you can get it off as large pieces of ice rather than letting it melt and run everywhere.

By the time I get through that there is still frost on the outside of the bottles so the nic hasn't had a chance to warm up.

I’m trying to pace myself on gaining weight. Speaking of which, it’s time to walk the dog. She’s waiting by the door. Gotta work off that cookie.

I have gained a lot of weight in the last year and I really don't like it. My wife loves it, because she always thought I could use a little extra. I do all the cooking in the house and since leaving Florida I am cooking everyday. I won't toot my horn, but I am a very good cooker person as my youngest use to say when she was little.

Here are some from Amazon. The amber color keeps light out and the poly cone caps help with minimizing air in the bottle and forms a tight seal. You can get different amounts if you don't need 12 just look around. I like getting mine from Amazon because they come in the perfect box for storing in the freezing with cardboard separators to keep the bottles from touching to prevent breaking. These are the most recommended bottles. You can also get clear or cobalt blue. I buy extra because when I mix large amounts of my favorite ejuice, I store it in one of these bottles.

Thanks I thought you was gonna say that. Do you happen to no of a code for heartland to help with the price? They have bottles at good prices all different colors.
Sorry, I don't. I've never bought anything from them, so I haven't ended up on a mailing list. I hope someone else can help you out.

You may be waiting a while. I finally just swapped out one for the 0.5. It looked still perfectly good after a week’s use, but I was tired of button pressing. The other two still have the first coil I put in. Really couldn’t tell a difference in draw between old and new. To me, as a coil gets near swap time they either get murky flavor or less draw.
LOL. Yes that's exactly how I know to replace a coil. Fine. I'll keep tugging on it until then. Although, it's got unflavored in it, and it's not my only pocket mod, so it could be a while.

Although, when I was growing up the freezer was defrosted approximately once a year and/or when everything was covered in ice - untill I was old enough then it became one of my chores . . . NOT FUN ! ! ! :censored:

However, since then all my refridgerators were self-defrosting . . . But since getting the mini-freezer I did some research . . . It is "My" understanding:

"To maintain the efficiency of a manual-defrost freezer, it should be defrosted each time it develops a quarter-inch of ice build-up on the interior walls. Many people defrost their freezers once a year, but you may find that you need to do yours more or less often depending on your usage habits."

"My" mini-freezer has been plugged in and running since December 2019. As you will see in the photo I post earlier, it is not "packed". Just checked it and there is barely a coating of frost on the inside walls/top/floor of the freezer so far.

Given that - guess by the end of the year or begining of next it will be time . . . We'll see . . . ;)

    .
Never had a little one. But, for my bigger one, just subjectively (and it makes sense) the frost build up varied depending on how often I opened it.

Code vapemag for 5% off first purchase at heartland. I think it still works but not sure.

Just a clarification: It doesn't only work on your first purchase. It's good for any purchase, but only one time per account.

I would catch up but like I can't. I had the worst work day (ever) in quite some time. at any company, including that time waiting tables where this revolting drunkard (I was newly sober) businessman like showed me his watch. He asked if I liked it, and I was like, "Well it's large. Surprising number of gems I guess. Sure." This progressed to "Do you like nice things?" To "Would you care to like trade me certain favors for nice things." It was really sloooowwww though. Super creepy. So like, uh, I went to my manager and was like, "The guy who just drank 10 gin and tonics just asked to buy me stuff in exchange for my... Well, you know. I need someone else to take that table." The manager was like, "Too bad Anna he's a businessman just freaking.... he's use to no, go back and finish." I was not happy. Same guy came back with his WIFE and FAMILY and KID for dinner one evening. Same manager. I was like, "No, seriously if I was drunk too I could get through it but I am SOBER now I can't and the guy was all "DO YOUR JOB" Hitler. It was so mortifying I ended up tipping like one of those large "all the entrees at once" trays all over the guy. Not on purpose the guy, but like I'm glad it wasn't the SPOUSE or the KID. The guy was all like "OH NO NO don't even worry" like all accommodating. I never saw him after that. I mean how ELSE was he gonna be right? I mean I could have said at any moment "So your husband offered me gifts for my ah, time," only I don't think I could do that to some other woman out with her 8 year old.

So.... Today I went in bright and early and like took the BLS Heart Certification Course and they had all these high tech mannequins attached to like the computer and it timed you precisely to to the second and 1/100th of an inch and I could do it all except the dang 2 person rotation CPR because it was a giant pain in the rear. Being stubborn I couldn't just be "I should stop" I mean past a certain point CPR gets harder, not easier, but it was like dumb stuff like "Switch in 5 seconds" I mean you have to HURL the ventilator from you pretty much. So I was shedding clothing and panting and I sort of ran upstairs like that and informed my largest group yet (9 dudes) they better not die or anything because I was like unable to perform like 2 person CPR and I could shout "GET THE AED!!" but they'd have to treat it like a treasure hunt like, since I had no idea where the nearest one was.

Being as how they've all used drugs/ETOH of one sort or another and/or in active, evil combat they were totally unfazed by this. It was a nice group, really only improvable had I not forgotten to switch out my snus from the AED. That and the REALLY painful zit on my chin.

    I passed at lunch--small victories.

So I had been stating to the "persons in charge" of this "really over technologized" THING that I have been supposed to be able to do, only I was getting like these error messages OR NO messages mainly NONE no matter what I was doing and I have been begging for help for like WEEKS. They kept telling me it was me, and to like read more training resources and I am like "THERE IS NO CONSISTENT error I could be making to cause this."

I pressed my case again today and it led to one of those 5 hour string of like...emails. Where everyone is. Where at least I was ah, vindicated, but a series of error SO BASIC were made (with a lie tossed in here or there) and well, the front desk is going to be the thing that does me in. I can either demand to schedule for myself, or go through this hell like every month until the ...-whupping wears off, because frankly, I'm not... I am gonna take screenshots. I am also going to ask about VERY specific time frames because then I stayed til 5 due to frekaing.... front desk staff SUDDENLY completing my ah, 11 am request which take oh 1 minute to complete.

I still have one of those freezers. It's over 25 years old. Only the top shelf gets thick ice on it, but it's a pain to have to defrost it every year, so I do it ever 2 years and put up with the lost space. lol

I bought a more modern freezer to replace it about 3 years ago and the thing broke down 5 months later. Lost a lot of food. So I got it fixed under warranty, sold it for half of what I paid and went back to using my old freezer. Thankfully I had room to save it and I'm glad I did.

My electricity bill didn't go down in that 5 months I used the new, "energy efficient" freezer. That's a bunch of BS AFAIC. Take into consideration the food I lost and it cost me more money over the old one. :-x

Been watching some Grimm Green videos (and this one has Wayne Walker DIY or DIE as a guest) They talk a lot about pre-made juices and DIY flavors. Anyway, if you are interested (watch the entire video) or just skip to 1:40 and it gets very interesting about how different people perceive flavors and even mentions "strawberry blindness" like I have. They even talk about some other common issues with flavor perceptions.
