Did innokin ask you to upload a photo ID when filling out the form for your prize? I am filling out the info to receive the Ares 2 that I won, and it asks me for that info. I generally avoid doing that online.

This is becoming the norm with contest to verify who you are and especially your age . . . Like @hittman sent copy of DL with number blocked - totally acceptable by vendors (innokin specifically) . . . BTW: Used a very easy online Graphic/Image program to edit & manipulate the photo - Lunapic - that you can save for future use. . .

Yes, I blocked out my DL # and uploaded it, I don't like to do it, but trust Innokin more than others.

That's what I ended up doing. I guess I was just caught a bit off guard. Other contests I have won on ECF have never asked for photo ID. However, this is the first Innokin giveaway I have won.

    Morning, mixers.

Yes, with the pressures the FDA is putting on vendors, proof of age is becoming more of an issue. Had to do similar with Innokin in the past (a contest win), and a couple other vendors. I, like others, scanned it and blacked out what they didn't need to know.

Sadly, our current rain delay is waiting FOR the rain! They still claim it's coming, but it seems that every night this week they backed it off another day.... now on for late today. Uh huh.

They took forever on mine too, but I should get mine on Monday. One of the disadvantages of living in a rural community, mail comes a little slower. I'll take that over the rioting and mayhem of the cities any day.

Somebody disagrees with my opinion on the country lifestyle, and perhaps prefers the rioting and mayhem of the big cities. Ya know, rural life ain't that bad. Sometimes we get our mail 3 days early. Yes, I got my Innokin package today that was due Monday and wouldn't have been delivered because of the federal holiday. I also got my second to last FT order a day early, too. Nothing exciting there, just an ohm meter. My final order from FT hasn't even shipped yet. Pics to come on the Innokin swag. The shirt is too small for me, so I'm going to give it to my daughter as a nightshirt.

    Good Afternoon All,

I've lived in both and will take rural life anytime. I was excited at first to live in LV but not anymore, thinking about Utah or Idaho and NOT a big city.

Anyway, no plans here except for some smoothie making! :w00t:

Good afternoon :) had some "fun" out on the water, but it was a shorter day. My TV came early.. I just set it up, and man this thing is freaking huuuuuge. It's one thing seeing numbers/dimensions on paper or screen, it's another when it's there in person.

    Enjoy the new tv bark!
Thanks! For our upcoming 10 year anniversary we wanted to go spend our money to go somewhere, such as Italy... but that's certainly out of the question at the moment. So now I guess we'll have to watch videos of Italy in 4K instead.

Um, or perhaps because the rioting is only in a few cities and generally only in a couple blocks area.

It's the constant noise in the city that gets to me :)

There was a riot downtown here, only a couple of nights though. My last job was downtown and it was bad long before the riots. There's nothing there except for bars and restaurants. Going home at 11.30 after the late shift was scary. Even with cop cars parked every 10 feet both sides of the road. Mobs of drunks blocking the sidewalks and swarming across the roads.

For a few months this year they closed the road in a local party district so the bars and restaurants could put tables in the street. Seemed like a good idea. But all the crazy bikers in town headed over there. They took over the parking garages around the edges for parties so nobody else could park and ran races in the streets below. Brought their own beer so they didn't even spend locally. They used social media so they were always ahead of the cops. Loser situation for the cops anyway. Breaking up a party of several hundred bikers is like breaking up a riot. They would need hundreds of cops and military tactics, and as soon as they arrive the bikers roar off to their next backup location.

I'm going through a period of boredom with vaping. I want to vape but it takes a great effort to change wicks and mix juice. Few months ago I was getting excited with mixing new recipes. Maybe it would help to get back into that.

The same can be said about living in the "sticks" if Ya' really listen . . . Hey - I've lived on a farm, in very rural areas, the mountains, near a river/lake/ocean, suburbia, "Bed room" & "Artist" Communities, and a few Big Cities (NYC/Philadelphia just to name 2) . . . They all were noisy at times . . . Now - Would I pick one over the other - it would really depend on the community, but "My" personal preference has mainly been and at the moment is where people are and if there are the amenities that I NEED . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Here at dd’s we’re about 10 minutes from the City of Keene town line. Keene is not what anyone would call a big city. There’s an airport fairly close but only small planes. It’s pretty quiet here and everyone has large yards.
