Waiting for an empty tank to try another new mix.

I've never been good at keeping track of days anyways (working swing shifts 70+ hours a week, I never know if I'm coming or going....) but this quarantine stuff is really throwing me offMight be Fake News. I think it's probably Wednesday. Actually being retired plus the lockdown it's hard to keep track of the days.
Right now I'm trying to make plans for thanksgiving dinner. We've been doing it for a long time and my wife wants to go ahead.
I copied the CDC guidelines for small family gatherings and wrote up a list. Guests stay in the living room apart from bathroom trips. Kitchen and office are off limits, normally they all want to use our computers and printer when they come round. Masks except for eating. Social distance. We dish out the food instead of buffet style. I'll set up two tables, one for us and one for guests, 10 feet apart. Windows open for air flow. And some other stuff.
Fortunately we don't have to deal with many people this year, several of the usual participants are out of town. Military, college, etc. Just a daughter, a GD and a GGD. But D drinks too much and goes to bars. No idea what GGD gets up to. She spends half her time with her father, he's of the right wing persuasion and doesn't believe in viruses and masks.
It's a shame to have to do that stuff. But me and her are old and have conditions which mean if we catch the virus we likely won't make it. Indiana is having a major spike in infections, Fauci and the CDC are saying small family gatherings appear to be one of the prime drivers right now.
And it’s not even the 13th. Go easy, hitt.I'm not sure what we are doing for thanksgiving. My inlaws and one Bil are in our "bubble" so it will probably be them and us.
I knew something was off from the minute I got up this morning. I cut my thumb at work yesterday and it started bleeding again when I was getting ready for work. Then I couldn't find my phone. Traffic was weird on the way to work and the first machine I worked on this morning was problematic. I thought that I had a bad memory card since I couldn't load the software into the machine but checked the card and only two of 28 files had loaded onto the card. I had to restart my computer and download the software again but finally got it working. I feel like I need to stick to simple work tasks today but am way behind and need to get stuff done. I guess it won't matter if everything goes like the first one did.

and uggg Indy...common....I'm up in westfield and I just want to smack these folks (we're too rich to get sick has been the mentality since all of this started, everyone treating it like it's some vacation)...apparently there's an outbreak here in my apartments, obviously the apt manager couldn't say who but told folks that there's been reports....like no duh really, they all outside goofing off like it's spring break letting their kids run wild....
and now that everyone's back to school....pft....I don't see schools being able to stay open for long....
If he wasn't tested for the flu it still could be covid. The accuracy of some tests are 87% depending on which lab/vendors test.My gd (Heather) hubby was sent home from work sick last week and tested for COVID. Test was negative, more likely the flu. He’s back to work today.
I would highly doubt it. He spent the previous week with his Dad at a hunting cabin. No contact with anyone else. His Dad didn’t get sick but he got tested and negative also.If he wasn't tested for the flu it still could be covid. The accuracy of some tests are 87% depending on which lab/vendors test.

It’s the same for the younger kids here with the masks and distance. The school Heathers young ones goes to closes Weds for cleaning. It’s a remote day.Good luck with your apartment problems.
I saw some info on schools the other day. They are close to concluding that schools aren't much of a problem, at least for the younger age groups. Kids come up positive but the evidence suggests that they are catching it outside the school, not much transmission inside the schools. At my GGD's school they all wear masks, small spaced out groups in each room, eat at their desks, temp testing in the morning, all sorts of precautions. High Schools didn't have quite as good results though.
Nothing like price gougingI was looking at the classified section and someone put a relx pod battery on there for $80. What a joke. You can buy a kit from their site for $30.
I’m just about done with my Christmas shopping and it looks like I’ll come out with some me money. I may have to try a couple MF flavors.
