Redbird11 For the first order of a flavor, I always start with a 10ml bottle, and after trying it, decide if it's worth a larger size. Now, some I order in 60ml and about 3 or 4 in 120ml's.
Oh yeah, I should have specified. I am just talking about the ones I am buying a second time. With new flavors, I am getting the 10ml. Do the ones that you get in 60ml or larger stay fresh tasting for quite a long time?

Had a visit from a one time neighbor Robert. He's been my car mechanic for 15 years. Bad news is he closed his shop. The people he rented the shop from wanted to double the rent. And he was offered a job on his original specialty which is working on heavy machinery. Work however many hours as he wants for $70 an hour fixing cranes. Apparently heavy equipment mechanics are in demand.

Years ago I got him started on vaping. He never quite made it. Always smoked a few in between vapes. I got him a bottle of WTA once and he reckoned it was pretty good but even that didn't get him off the smokes. I gave him some of my DIY juice but it didn't work for him, he preferred the stuff he bought down the shop. Now he's decided to give up since he heard about the regulations, I told him about that a few months ago. So he said next time he was in the old neighborhood he would bring me all his vaping gear. No idea what he has but he said loads of mods and tanks and even pipes. And numerous bottles of juice. I think he picked up new gear constantly in the hope that something would work for him. I told him if he ever changed his mind he could come round and I would set him up with new gear.

He showed up once at my house with a Pico. I hadn't even heard of them at the time and I ended up getting one and then several more.

Appreciated, but no thanks. I know which flavors I want to get. I am just planning on breaking it up into two orders. So basically, I am just finalizing what is going to be in this order.
BCF usually has a black Friday or cyber Monday sale. Just sayin..:)

Thanks. It should really allow me to expand my DIY game.

BTW, what size bottles do you all generally buy in flavors that you like. I have been just getting the smaller options, but I know some flavors I for sure will be using pretty often.
I get the smaller size on flavors I don’t know. I get 30ml on ones I like but I know some folks get the bigger ones.

It really they do stay fresh. I have some of my very first flavor order and that was quite some time ago. I'd imagine they would be designed to be stable in solution but it's hard to say for sure.

I have some amusing flavor orders I bought 1 oz of Supersweet. I was not thinking about how large a vat of it I would get. They must have thought I was a business because like, um, they attached, (Free of charge) a small bottle of MORE sucralose.

What you need for your base flavors will be what very different from what you need for your accent flavors though. So you do have to pay attention to that. Some stuff I use up surprisingly quickly other stuff, not so much even though I "like" them the same.

@FranC ... I get it but what if someone was looking for a microwave and it was rated 5 stars and had 200 reviews (mostly good) is there any harm in mentioning that (even though you have tried that microwave)??? Have you ever tried MJ (I hope you know what that means) Can you say it's not good? I'll stop... might have crossed the line again (but it's not me that starts these debates ;) )
A microwave is hardly a comparison in taste.

I don't have a lot of recipes and most of them I've been mixing for years. I have around a dozen 4oz bottles of flavoring. Some of them last me 3 or 4 years. I never noticed any of them losing their flavor, though my taste buds aren't that sensitive.

One thing that continues to amaze me is how different a recipe can taste in different tanks. I have LMN# in a pnp tank on my Argus Gt and in an NRG-s tank and they taste very different.

Go big or stay home... or is that Go big or come home... or maybe it's size matters? I can't remember but I buy the 4oz bottles if I really like a flavor a lot.

Are the two tanks pretty different in airflow? Or do you think it's something else causing the differences?

Yes. But I do put them in a working 30ml bottle, and keep the 120 unopened, except to refill the smaller.

Edit:60's stay in 60's and get used.

I switch recipes so often that I usually buy 10ml bottles and if it’s something I use regularly then I’ll get a 30ml or 60ml bottle. I have maybe 5-6 4oz bottles that I bought early when I started mixing.

I would guess that it’s the coils. I have a .15 coil in the pnp tank and a .2 Gt coil in the vaporesso tank. The vaporesso tank has more airflow available but I don’t have it wide open.

I've noticed that too. Half my setups are KFLs, the others are bigger airier tanks like Lemo and STM. Some juices just don't taste as good in the KFLs, some taste better in a KFL. Everything tastes good in the BB though. Wish I knew the story behind that but my guess is I never will. Just one of those things.
