We are not going anywhere this week either, just getting a small ham for my birthday and T-Day - there will be plenty for 2 days. I love ham and don't really like turkey much. Love the stuffing and cranberry though!

That sounds nice! I love ham,
stuffing and cranberry too! I just hope at some point I am able to make some decent stuffing. I have tried it and a few times and it has always been a big fail.

That sounds nice too. The rest of my large family are gathering en masse as usual and I sure hope nobody gets sick as a result!
Yes, it’s being said many times over that it isn’t a good idea. Hoping also that no one gets sick.

Made it to the Dr. appt and it went pretty well, better than I expected anyway. Got our refills! :w00t:

Yay on the refills but your doctor is really morally obligated not to do that, frankly. She gets extra funding for telemedicine and NOT seeing sick patients in her waiting araea all crammed together. It's not running out (That health statute) any time soon.

Given your recent hospitalization and how much you like her you could mention that to her/to her licensing board. It is NOT kosher. Even if your wife was sick if it was non life threatening it could have been telemedicine.

If she's a single agent I could see how telemedicine fees could be bogging her down but the government is supposed to help with THAT too.

    I mean... really.

There was no waiting in room with others, we checked in by ourselves and went back to our truck and waited for them to call us to come in to a room. But I agree, she could do video calls if she wanted to. Yep we've been with her 17 years!

@*RJ* your Christmas decorations are so beautiful they are making me a little anxious. I swear my mom was one of those "perfect Christmas" people like she couldn't handle anyone eatinng before the big meal and in GERMANY she got into the "real candle craze" and I kept TELLING her "A chrismas tree and all its tinsel goes up in THREE minutes we will all be dead of fumes." She poo poo'hed me for a long time but I got in the habit of sitting by the front door, with the fire extinguisher, going " I told you" during the carol singing. I was like, "Um I will TRY to save you all but I am saving me FIRST."

I was ignored. No one died. But they COULD have I mean, it happens all the time. LOL.

So, liking the ah glittery light ones, etc. Very beautiful :)

I think I’m going to mix some more gingerbread ice cream. This time I’m going to use tfa vbic instead of cap.

Don't know if already shared it, but can you post the recipe please, I like a good gingerbread vape, and can get what I need when BCF have a sale :)

The original called for cap vbic but I just today changed it to tfa and decided it needed some meringue.

For 20 years I went to the Christmas tree farm down the road and chopped down these huge trees. One was 11’! Just crazy. I got real tired of doing that and it’s expensive. But the thing that made me go fake tree is watching my Dad burn my trees after Christmas. Those things roared into a huge fire in seconds! Mom gave me her old fake one.

I love Christmas especially since I had my son. He loves it too. It’s magical to me. All this stuff was acquired from friends, grandmothers, Mom, stuff my son made in school, ornaments I had as a child, ornaments from my grandmother that are probably 100 years old, and a lot I’ve accumulated over 30 years. I donated tons of stuff a few years ago. Christmas is special to me. I do the same decorating year after year and I can whip through it pretty quick.

It all goes down the day after Christmas. Going down is faster than going up.
