Good morning mixers. I got through a few sft yesterday and have a few to go. Definitely need to rewick to try the natural raspberry and want to try the blueberry solo to get a better feel for it.

Let us know how it turns out. Very unique recipe mixing candy cane with a cheesecake.
Who knew? There are actual food recipes for Candy Cane Cheesecake.

    Candy Cane Cheesecake

I’m vaping it now and it’s good! The cheesecake is acting like a base and the candy cane is more prominent. Definitely Christmasy. Love it.

I love Macadamia nuts in RL. Haven't tried a macadamia nut in vape juice yet. It sounds like it would be good, but IDK.

I'm sorry, think I missed which one you're using. I just looked at BCF and they have VT Macadamia Nut and WF Macadamian Nuts.

And do you mean using Macadamia nut at 2%?

Last question :D, what recipe in Zazie's blog?

    Thanks
The Macadamian nut is WF and it’s very tasty. I used it at 4% which is too much and I’m guessing 2% will be perfect? I have no recipe yet. I had just a 2 flavor tester.

Back when I was buying ready made juice there was a coconut I really liked, can't remember what brand it was. Maybe VV. I've tried mixing coconut since then and never managed to produce anything I liked. Same thing has happened with several other flavors. Not sure why. Maybe I just never hit the right recipes. Maybe my taste buds changed over time since I quit smoking. I think early on I liked anything with a really strong flavor since that was all I could taste.

Nowadays I keep two bottles of each of my mixes. As soon as a bottle runs out I mix it so it can steep while I vape the other bottle. Except for fruit because I reckoned that was better fresh so I only keep one bottle. It's one of my favorites and my wife's as well. Tonight I ran out of fruit and went to mix another bottle, discovered I was out of two of the three fruits I use in it. Time for another flavor order, right after the sales all ended.

One of my original Picos seems to be on the way out. The screen has faded so much I need the magnifier to read it, and now the 510 pin is getting dodgy. I have to poke around and pop the pin up when I reinstall a tank. A couple of others have faded screens.
    Time for some new mods?

My son got home from the bonfire around midnight. Wood was too wet to burn so they made microwave s’mores instead and watched the Alabama football game. Huh I said? Microwave? I was craving chocolate all day yesterday and he brought home the fixings for the s’mores. Yep...I got up at midnight and made microwave s’mores. So freaking good. The marshmallow swells up when heated for about 12 to 15 seconds and the chocolate melts perfectly. Yum! Now I want to find a good s’mores vape recipe.

I am going to have to try that, I was kind of surprised that I actually have all the flavors for that mix, that never happens. :?:

Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?

My plan is to put a recipe together for the WF Macadamian Nuts. I am quite impressed with the nut flavor. I also like it with the INW Biscuit I mixed it with. I may just add a fruit or two and go with that.

I am really enjoying it. I never seem to have all the flavors for a recipe but I’ve gotten good at subbing, especially since I’m on a flavor no-buy.

That's great that you like how it turned out. And that's with only 1 day of steeping?

Is the Natural Raspberry an SSA flavor or another brand?

I wish I cared for nut flavors in vaping, but never have I found one that I liked. I love pistachios and macadamian nuts in food, but not so far in a vape.

I’m a non-steeper. I can never tell the difference. And since I have well over 1,000 ml mixed they will all sort of steep in their bottles. Oh I almost forgot...I use a warm bath to “steep” my juices right after mixing. Fairly hot water for about 30 minutes and shake the dickens out of them two or three times. So that’s my steeping method. Steeping for a long time feels too tortuous to me and I normally mix when I’m almost out. It works for me. And sometimes steeping for long periods makes the juice worse IMO.

My 3 favorites from him. :)

Kas, I probably saw the above one taped at NBC studios for Midnight special. My youth was spent going to the tapings of Midnight Special in Burbank at NBC (it was walking distance from my house) myself and friends went weekly to these tapings as it was something to do. I saw so many, Van Morrison, Tina Turner, Cher, Rod Stewart. My friends dad got us weekly tickets. Taped at the same place as Johny Carson, who we never saw as that kind of stuff bored us 13 year old kids.

I’m going to mix this S’mores recipe sometime today. It sort of follows a recipe I found on ELR that follows DIYorDie dude’s recipe. I subbed and rounded %s.

    S’mores

    0.50% Acetyl Pyrazine 5% (TPA)
    1.00% Cookie (Purilum)
    2.00% double chocolate clear (TPA)
    4.00% Graham Cracker (Clear) (TPA)
    1.00% Marshmallow (DX) (TPA)
    1.00% Meringue (FA)
    0.50% Super Sweet (CAP)
2.00% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (TPA)

    Flavor total: 12%

Way back then in my youth, I was never interested in someone like Gordon. It was only later in my life that I discovered him. I was more of a Rock-n-Roller, even Van Morrison, I discovered too late to see a live show. Today I would love to have seen a lot of musicians who are no longer around, at least now there is Youtube. :|

Hey, stick with what works for you for sure. And I agree about some mixes don't need steeping too long. Sometimes fruity mixes can really lose a lot of flavor if they sit around too long, at least in my experience.

I hate hazelnut with a passion. In food, drink, or anything. It is one of the few foods or flavorings I just cannot stand. And I have no idea why. Most people I know like hazelnut.
