I made a TFA BNB single flavored sample and didn't much care for it. It definitely didn't have enough banana taste, to me either. So I checked out some recipes for BNB and made another sample with 3 other flavorings in it, too (TFA Banana, TFA Butter, and TFA Vanilla Swirl). As soon as I mixed it, it was better, but decided to give it some time to just sit. Two weeks later I tried it...and couldn't believe how much it had changed for the better. Since then I've gotten a 60mL bottle of the TFA BNB.

If you don't have or don't want to get the other 3 flavorings...I'd think just getting and adding some TFA Banana to what you have would help it a lot.
Thank you :thumb:

That is fine for you. To me, it's just a waste of money. Years ago I chased after apple flavors and never was able to taste a single one. Done with apple forever.

I won't be wasting any money. I have some blueberry flavors that I bought and never got around to trying so I'll dig those out and try them and see if I can come up with a combination that works for me.

If you end up with a blueberry mix you can taste well that will be a winner for you. I’m just not tasting blueberry and I’ve decided I’m not chasing it any farther. There’s a bunch of good fruits I can taste fine and I’m happy with that.

    strawberry delight
    orange creamsicle
    pineapple cheesecake
Pineapple Cheesecake sounds interesting. You mind sharing the recipe?

Good afternoon fellow mixers, I hope all is well. I'm slowly getting back into mixing and I'm always looking for recipes that sound good and fit in with the flavors I have on hand. I'm also doing what I can, finances agreeing, to add more flavors to my stash. I have the e-liquid Calculator and have been looking for good recipes. I do have a question about using the site, how do I find recipes made by others. I know I can search for a particular recipe but not for recipes made by a certain individual.
I have also read here that there are blogs folks have written on mixing. However, I can't find the blogs. I'm a bit frustrated and looking for some help.
I'm not in as much pain as I was yesterday, but I'm still staying in doing things on the computer and may sit in my recliner with a good book or continue searching for a good pattern for a cat tree for my kitten.
Time for more pain meds and hopefully some relief. Stay safe and well.

Here is the direct link to Zazie's blog where there are many recipes and ideas. Zazie's blog | E-Cigarette Forum

You can search on Zazie's Blog page by ECF member name like "FranC" or "dennism" / or you can search by a flavor name like "Strawberry" or "Apple" etc.. Although that will only give you a result if the flavor is in the recipe title. Search can't look in any of the recipes for other flavors.

Glad you're feeling better. You stay safe too.

    Good afternoon D-I-Y Folks! :D

Lazy day. Ran a bunch of errands earlier. Putzed around the house doing a little of this and that.

Y'all sure know an awful lot about TV series and shows. Not I. Nope. Never heard of Dexter, or if I did I don't remember. I get bored very easily with most shows and tend to lose interest pretty quickly. I DVR ones I might like then months later watch part of an episode, say meh, and delete them. My DVR hates me for all the work I put it through.

    Here ya go Fran...

BTW Dexter is a good series. MY gd brought me goodies to watch. 2 seasons of Yellowstone, 5 seasons of Chicago PD and a half dozen single movies. She also has A Christmas Story so she is going to bring that next time.

In addition to Zazie's Blog...there's also a pretty long thread that was started by Papaw Brett in January 2017...called Recipes for Dummies. He wanted a thread for easy recipes that DIY newbies and others could make, that took only 3-4 flavorings at the most. There are lots of recipes in it from people on this thread, as well as many from a bunch of other ECF members, too. As the thread progressed you'll notice quite a few with more than 3-4 flavorings, too, though. There are definitely a bunch of good ones in it, IMO. You may want to browse through it, too, to see what you can find.

Care to share the blueberry recipe? For some reason I've taken interest in blueberry again and am going to start trying to work on a better blueberry combo. I just could never get it right before.

I got my blueberry back when I tried OSDIY Blueberry. For some reason I could taste it when I couldn't taste any other blueberry.

I have also read here that there are blogs folks have written on mixing.

Another Blog that you might want to check out is Bill's Magic Vapor's Blog from a few years ago. He was a very helpful member who willingly shared his vast knowledge of DIY on the old TFA thread for years, too.

His recipes within his Blog all have a high total flavoring %, because most were written 6 years ago or more, when the tanks, coils, etc. weren't as good at delivering flavor as they are now. But they can easily be cut in 1/2 or more, and they still taste great, IMO. I frequently refer to his Blog helpful hints and tips, especially if I run into something that he might have a quick fix for, or info on, in his Blog. There's a lot of helpful "stuff" contained in it, and I'm glad it's still here on ECF...even though Bill doesn't come around any more.

Dexter might be a rare case where the show is better than the books. It's fantastic (IMO)

    I’ve never read the books.
They are good, but take some getting used to. The books are written all in the perspective inside Dexter's mind. There isn't typical dialogue like typical books, no quotations. It's a bit weird.
