Here lately I have been having more hits than misses with my diy mixes.
If a recipe calls for more than 5 flavors, it's off my list. To be honest I don't get the layering that some mixers talk about. All of my mixes are now steeped for 6 weeks, used to do 4.
I have adopted the K.I.S.S. philosophy for my mixes.
I do so agree with the K.I.S.S. method. My 2 last mixes were one 5 and one 6 flavors. I won’t mix anything over 7 but to go over 5 isn’t normal of me.

    Somewhere between here and there
Work stuff. A couple of errands. Nothing exciting. I also need to figure out how to get a stuck drip tip out of my zlide tank.

    What about you?

A big hammer? Seriously though, I'd just put a towel or something on it to protect it and then use a pair of pliers to rock it back and forth. Maybe try wiggling the top cap from side to side a little. I assume you're talking about the stock tip that has the extra tip on it to lock the top cap from sliding?

To talk about simple recipes. I've liked my all yogurt recipes. FW Yogurt with 2-3 fruits added. Simple but good. It's my favorite yogurt so I'm just going to stick with it. I wasn't overly impressed with the Frozen Yogurt but I'll use it up sometime. I also bought a small bottle of TFA Greek Yogurt. Anybody know why?

Suggestion - Worked standing on "My" feet most of my life (really paying the price now), the absolute best "shoe" I ever wore were Rockport Walking Shoe . . . Can be expensive, however worth it since they are very supportive & comfortable - Last long too . . . . Just Sayin' . . .

    .
Rockports are Himself’s fav too. He’s on hard floors 10-12 hours a day at work.

I swear I’m going to try and mix today. After I go ship mom and my aunt’s filled Christmas stockings (since we can’t all get together as usual), mark a few household chores off the list, and dig through the pile of to be wrapped presents for the empty flavors case I ordered. I need to reorganize my flavors, but... egad, not until after the holidays. I’m crunched for time these days

I’m sorry. I hope it doesn’t last much longer!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not sure that it would work well with this tank though. The drip tip is kind of a plastic material.
Maybe try soaking it in some hot soapy water or alcohol in case it’s just some juice gunk making it stick.

@FranC - When you're a supporting ECF member...are ALL of the annoying ads prevented from showing up? I've about had it with the newest ones. Even when clicking on "hide"...they just come right back. Some don't even have an x or "hide" to get rid of them. Going into Task Manager (Services) and Settings to stop them doesn't even do it.

I'd have to say yes. I get a rare pop-up here and there that's usually forum related, can't even remember when I got the last one.

Does anyone know why we are no longer being given the option to edit our posts after they have been posted? I often find my posts need to be edited for clarity.
I think there's a time limit: I can edit recent posts but can't touch older ones. Much to my annoyance.

Having had several cat trees wrapped in carpet that my cats ignored, I then discovered sisal rope. Wrapped the rope around the carpet and fastened with a staple gun and my cats go to town on them now. Might want to consider that. They get a better pull to their claws this way.

My little kitten is declawed so the carpet is strictly for comfort.

Oh wow, sorry to hear you have the Covid. Positive thoughts and prayers are being said for you.

Others have already answered, there are other benefits but I can't remember what they are.

As for the edit icon, I can edit replies that I wrote on Tuesday but the icon is missing for replies I made on Monday.
