Election results are in. With 100% of precincts reporting, hometown guy wins over Dallas salon lady by 56% to 44%.
He is something else, smart as H and bullheaded with it. He is 18 weeks old now and already weighs a tad over 50lbs.
Sorry, the district didn't include Dallas. If it did, then Dallas salon lady probably would've won. There's rumours she moved into the district just to run for office. It's a long, but not impossible, commute. Not likely for business owner. I don't even know if she's really a Republican, since she never votes in the primaries and that's how you declare your party affiliation in Texas.
Fair enough. I still think he would rather have his 100 million dollars over a Super Bowl. I know I would.

Glad your guy won then. So was he Democrat? You mentioned something about the other one being Republican. I can't imagine Democrats win a lot of races in Texas.

You should see his story on A Football Life on NFL Network, he'd probably take the Superbowl ring. He definitely was the best undrafted quarterbacks to play the game. His big money is coming from calling games now.
