Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?
Just hanging with the kiddos. Grandson and the dog are inseparable besties now. It’s really cute.
May try and mix a couple more for the steep box. I’d forgotten how quickly juice goes with 2 vapers in the house.

I’ve been going through a lot all by myself.

I have both FA and FLV. With FLV would you cut the percentage in half SMT?
These are just my opinions and how I like to use the following custards.

I do like CAP v1 Vanilla Custard but I rarely go over 1.5%.

Here is how I would use the FA and FLV custards in the banana recipe Red posted.

FA Custard Premium 1% --- some taste a floral note over 1%

FLV Vanilla Custard 1% for more of a background note and 2% if you want it to be more prominent --- it's not as eggy nor as in your face as CAP v1 Van Custard

FLV Custard 1 - 2% --- it's more eggy versus FLV Vanilla Custard but nothing like CAP v1 VC

I forgot to mention INW Custard yesterday. It's one of my favorite custards.

INW Custard 1.5 - 2.5% (above ~3% it starts getting eggy) --- it's smooth and no where near as eggy as CAP v1 VC, it's lighter too; steep time is way less compared to CAP v1 VC

    Good afternoon D-I-Y'ers

I managed to get my grocery shopping done. Super long walk with Dog. Mixed up more of my butterscotch juice. Earlier I tested a chocolate/nut recipe that was a dud a couple weeks ago. I managed to fix it. It's good now but I need to further refine my recipe.

54 degrees here today (very weird). T-shirt and windows open kind of weather. :D

Any thoughts on a cornbread recipe?

    Good afternoon folks!

I mixed a cornbread pudding recipe last night. It was supposedly voted tops in one of the groups I am in. I am keeping my expectations low though because I have been chasing for a profile similar to Country Cloud's Cornbread Pudding since I started DIY with nothing but fails. Some guy named Wayne said it was great (lol). I think he is the person who started the whole DIYorDIE thing, not sure.

I am working on an order from BCF. @ShowMeTwice sent me some advice on my butterscotch woes and I aim to take it. Does anyone know if BCF runs sales during the Holidays?

A while back Bronze said BCF will be running a sale between Christmas and New Years.

I had a simple list that started out with 2-3 flavors. It's now at 8. Oh well, I have a small box of about 30 flavors for my brother when he stops by.

that's the one I will use! For some reason I have bought it (twice) this year and have not used it. Perfect. Thanks SMT :)

Took Buster to the field for a little Frisbee time... he is already 4 months old now.
