Wow. After my son showed me where downloads are on my IPad I took a look at these recipes. OMG! So many recipes, with notes! This is awesome...

I downloaded it to my kindle app. Does the download arrow at the top disappear after a while? I always move to another app or print as soon as I download. It certainly looks like a very useful reference guide!

I just couldn’t get the flavor production I was looking for without buying specialty wire. Too much fiddling around for me. I tried different wire types and different diameters then finally bought some superfine Clapton wire and got decent flavor.

On my iPad the downloads go into a tab on the main screen that looks like a file folder.

I noticed these recipes are very low on %. Is flavorah strong or something? 5% or so of flavor will not work for me.

Smoky Blue recently published a couple PDF's on how she tests Flavorah flavors and her suggested use for each FLV flavor. Really good info. The other one has all her FLV recipes (like 350+) that were on ELR. She stopped using ELR and decided to share all her info to date. SB is currently working on a DIY book.

I'm thinking perhaps info like this should be in Zaz's blog.

Oh no! What's going on with him?

It appears he has a urinary tract infection. As per his first vet visit on Thursday, this was the diagnosis. I panicked when he would not eat the next day after the vet visit. In my agony watching him pee blood and not eat I convinced myself he must have cancer and lost all faith in the local vet. I rushed him to a specialty hospital with an internist and oncologist. I asked for any test they would think he would need. . $2,200 later and some tests and he was sent home today. The diagnosis, Urinary Tract Infection.
