I watched the first couple episodes of cobra Kai but haven’t gone back to it. I’m assuming it gets better. I got a little bored with it.

Give it a chance, just on a pure nostalgia it is totally worth it.
That is if you're a fan of the movies,1 and 2 were the best,3 and 4? meh

I never watched the originals, so I don't have the nostalgia factor that makes me want to watch it. That said, I do have some acquaintances that love the show. I might give it a shot after I finish Umbrella Academy.

If you do decide to watch Cobra Kai i recommend you start with the movies, you need to watch Karate Kid 1,2 and 3,and then you dive in Cobra Kai.

Megadesk complete. It is very heavy, but not too unmanageable for 1 person. I'm really satisfied with my stain choices.

It's 6'3" W x 25" D x 30" H
And the bonus prize is that it is level, all 8 legs touching too.
That turned out fantastic! The stain choices are perfect, the wood really “pops”.

See, I generally don't like doing research before watching something. I know enough about the story to probably be ok with just starting the show.

Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?

My plans are to do laundry which is already half done. Then figure out what tank I'll try the Alpine in.
Laundry, laundry and football here. My baggies of new flavors are still forlornly waiting for their chance to be mixed. I want to try the raspberry syrup with yogurt. Either I wrote it down and “misplaced” the scrap of paper or I “misremember” you saying... but what would you use as a base flavor? I’m eager to try the WF shortbread cookie, but don’t think the raspberry yogurt is the best place for it.

OK folks, I require your expert knowledge of mixing. How strong is the FA White Peach flavor? I am going to make another batch of WF Peach Gummy Candy, and thought about adding the White Peach to it at about 1%. I do not want it to overpower the Peach Gummy, which will probably be around 3.5%. I just kind of want it as a background note. But having never used white peach, I was unsure how overpowering the flavor would be. As always, your help and advice is appreciated.

My tester recipe is Raspberry Syrup 1%, FA Fresh Cream 1% and INW Biscuit 1%

Like to help but haven’t been able to vape peach in many years.

@hittman How’s your opinion of the Alpine going? Do you really think it’s a better strawberry than the ones we normally use?

It’s hard to say since I’m just trying it with Flv cream and think two drops was too strong for 10ml. I’m not sure how long to let it steep after mixing it with the cheesecake this morning. I’ve struggled finding the right combination of strawberries and figured if I liked the alpine enough then I could forget about combining. For sure it takes a lot less than any other strawberry flavor I’ve tried. I mixed some cheesecake with succulent strawberry and it took 6% to be close to as strong as the alpine is with two drops.

I went back and watched a couple more episodes. It’s getting more interesting now.

Ok. My thinking is the Alpine using just drops doesn’t make it the best strawberry. I’m not at all upset about buying it. I can mix juice forever using 1 drop for 15ml. It is a decent strawberry.

Maybe you can vape it now. You said your tastes are changing a bit.
It’s possible. I could get a small bottle and find out. I really missed it for the first year but haven’t in years. Other fruits have more than filled the empty space. I don’t have a good feeling about tasting it again so I’ll probably just leave well enough alone.

I wouldn't consider it research,i mean the thing is that if you start the series without watching the prior movies you will be missing a lot.
From inside jokes,to major plot occurrences and some easter eggs sprinkled there that have to do with the movies.

From a fan of the movies and the tv series i seriously think it's a requirement that at least you watch the first movie before delving in the tv series.

    What's it about?

    SInce you din't get an answer from @hittman . . .

"The Umbrella Academy" . . . Is a slightly different type of series similar to "Stranger Things", but much better . . . It is base upon a comic book about a group of different Children from around the world adopted by a quirky Scientist (English Type who carries an umbrella) that brings them all together to live and study in "The Umbrella Academy" . . . It starts when all the children - years after they all went their separate ways & living very different lives - return home after their "Father" has died . . . Each child is very "Special" and they have some extraordinary talents and abilities . . . There is a huge "Family" secret that they eventually uncovered, especially when they regress to past memories and even the "future" . . . Very Interesting and Captivating Series . . . A must watch for those who are into Science Fiction and/or something "Quirky" (Think "DeadPool") . . . :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

    .
I’m not sure that falls into my first love in movies, blood and guts. I also really like the Fast and Furious movies and I like westerns. Not sure that I would like quirky.
