I used Turbotax. There was a question about if you got the stimulus checks and how much each time. I put $1200 for the 1st one and $0 for the second. The program added $600 to my return. I usually don't get a return, but now I am.

My oldest graduated college in 2019 so I think she's out of luck.

I did just buy a pair. And they are great. Except, unlike my last trail running shoes, these are not good for asphalt. I run trails only about 50% of the time. So now I am looking for some good lightweight road shoes.

And Brooks are generally good shoes. I've had a couple of pair. As far as brands I like, I have generally been happy with Saucony, Adidas, and Asics. Salomons are really good too, but I've found their sizing to be less consistent than the other 3 brands.

I had the Brooks Pureflow 3 and 5. I liked the three better. Those were the last ones I bought of Brooks. I've been using a pair of Nike running shoes but I forget the name of them. I really have been doing very little running the last 2-3 months and desperately need to get back into it. I usually just run on the treadmill at home then do some free weights and use my smith cage. I've just lost my motivation lately.

The first stimulus check was based on the tax year 2018 or 2019, whichever year was most recently filed at that time. The second check was based on tax year 2019. If she was a dependent on those tax years she is out of luck.

That just sucks! She was working two part time jobs and living on her own with her boyfriend when covid hit. Both places shut down and she didn't have enough time in to get any unemployment and didn't get the stimulus either. We gave her some money to get by on and luckily she had been good about saving so she made it through ok. I really would have liked to see her get some of that stimulus to help pay down her student loans.

My running shoes are Asics. When I was running major miles my knee started giving me fits. I changed to Asics and the issue went away immediately.

I tried a pair of Asics running shoes and they hurt my feet so bad that I donated them after only three short runs wearing them.

I hope Anna is doing well, all things considered. Say hello from me, please. It's pretty hard to get fired from a government job. I think Anna needs to just chill some, :). There is no absolute 100% perfect job where everything just magically "flows". There will always be a knucklehead or two everywhere. Sometimes in the eyes of others we're that knucklehead. ;) Accepting that goes a long way towards finding some tranquility and peace of mind.
I've never had a perfect job where I liked everyone. I had the boss from hell for ten long years. My state employer has a 6 month probationary period where you can be let go without cause. It was rough as you also can't take sick time during that period. I think the VA has a newish rule where anyone can be let go at will. The VA near me is a customer of mine. Do they use that rule a lot...dunno. I forgot what the rule is called.

I got my service call done already. It took longer to drive there and back than to do the repair. Oh well, we charge from the time I leave until I get back. It wasn't a big bill but easy work as far as service calls go.

I don't think there is such thing as a perfect job. Tolerable, yes but not perfect. Even working for yourself can be imperfect.

Everbodys feet are different. The best thing to do is go to a specialty running store and let them test your feet and be properly fitted.

Just like most things, it all the depends on the person. For instance, I know Nike shoes have some excellent running shoes. However, I have never found a pair that didn't hurt my feet.

I think I have mentioned the site runrepeat.com in the past, but if not, it is an excellent resource for finding shoes. They compile reviews from experts and consumers alike and also have specialized searches (like for high arch, over pronation, ect.) I always go there when starting a search for new shoes.

Working on my next BCF order, so far all are Wonder Flavors, I like to get 10 on my list before I order. All are 30ml.
1-Hazelnut and Cream, 2-Vanilla Ruyan Custard, 3-Almond Cookie, 4-Coconut Rum, 5-Fluffy White Cake.
Most of mine are WF too. The Ruyan Custard is in it. I already have the White cake. I think it's very good. Nice and light.

Nike shoes make my feet scream... can't wear them at all.

    Any suggestions?
Of the one's I've tried, I've been pretty happy with all of them. The flapper pie and crispy wafer are really good, and I can see being useful in a variety of recipes. The peach gummy is just really tasty and so is the island mango. The peach gummy is almost a one shot, good enough to stand by on its own. I also enjoyed the blueberry smoothie when mixed with an ice cream or vanilla.

The peach gummy may be too sweet for my taste, the other 2 I'm going to check right now. The crispy wafer and flapper pie sound good too, Thanks.

Surprisingly, the peach gummy isn't overly sweet. At least it wasn't as sweet as I thought it might be.
