We go for our second dose on Sunday,
Pfizer or Moderna?
We go for our second dose on Sunday,
Very sensible and space-saving approach.
However:
1. We would have to open every box, examine its contents, and make an executive decision, and then act upon it. More work than I'm willing to do right now.
2. Spare glass tank tubes would have to be secured somehow--bubble wrap?--before they go in a ziplock bag. Even more work. They seem more secure in their respective boxes--at least for now.
3. I'm thinking also that if I should ever decide to pif, trade or sale any of those atties or mods, it would be nicer and easier to ship them in their original packaging.
I know, excuses, excuses. Some day, perhaps. I'm not ready yet.![]()

I have been saving all these boxes for just those exact reasons and I, for one, am over itI am hearing that side effects are more possible with the second shot.

I know.I know you do that and it’s very thoughtful of you.Good evening. The roads were surprisingly good coming home today. I got home and went right out and got the snowblower. I did mine and the neighbors driveway on the right of my house. There were no tire tracks in the driveway so I don’t know if they are home or not. The husband is in remission so I usually go over and do their driveway when it snows.
I agree. Wicked cold is wicked cold.My fingers were hurting by the time I came in but the snowblower makes quick work of it. Even though it felt warmer at 12 degrees today, it’s still pretty cold. It’s easy to forget after multiple days below zero.
Okay - Day was interesting so far . . . Went early for "Blood Letting", which was good since they let me take an earlier appointment because the person scheduled never showed up, so took lest then 5 mins . . . Since I hadn't eaten (had to fast) - nor took my medications, thought I would try the same with getting the "Potion". Appointment was 2 PM got there at 12:45 got right in line and was waved on . . .. . . Only to sit in a very long slow moving (inches at a time) line for approximately 3 hrs . . . Thankfully, although very dirty/smelly, "port-a-potties" located for easy access while line moved along (put car in park - do buisness . . BTW: Never take water pills when you know you're going to have to wait for hours . . .
) . . . Come back - no cars have moved even an inch . . . 2 hours later - have to go through a second screening to confirm pre-registration . . . Get to "nurses" station half hour later - they insisted that I have to refill forms, because they could not read the pre-registration form - nor what the intake people did (another half hour) . . . Finally get 1st "Portion of Potion" . . . EASY PEASY - Never even felt the needle go in . . . All done by 4:30. . . Only to be informed I will have to go through the same process for 2nd "Portion of Potion" . . . However, next time I bring insulin/food-snack/drink and an empty bottle just in case an emergency should arise . . . Just Sayin' . . .
BTW: Found it very interesting to see people getting shots with Georgia/Massachusetts/New York/Quebec license plates in-line being that it was South Florida . . .
.
I miss the Missouri Falls and Springs, but not the cold winter! My daughter lives in the mountains of East Tennessee. She called to “gloat” that it was warmer there than here lol. Crazy weather.45 minutes due east on I-20 from me. We had 6" snow, with low of 1° this morning. High 26 today with more ice and snow coming staring tomorrow. Roads are a mess and everything is pretty much at a stand still. We normally have the two Louisiana seasons. Hot and humid followed by 3 weeks of "oh this must be winter" of temps in the 60s. I miss the colors we experienced living in Kansas, Missouri and Okla.

Saw video of Galveston beach covered in snow. Rolling blackout for us this morning. Only an hour and a half, but with no notice and 3 degrees outside, a bit concerning.Had anyone heard from @barkfunklerbunk today? I saw Galveston all iced in and powerless on the news![]()
