I wish you success. I don't think I have ever eaten bread pudding.

My wife made it once for a holiday dinner with the inlaws since my MiL likes it. I tried it and didn't like it at all.

It doesn't appeal much to me. I prefer my pudding to have the consistency of pudding. Not soggy looking bread. Plus, I think it has raisins. It might be good, but I'm not in any hurry to find out.

Me either. I'm hoping my mix is much tastier.

I haven’t either... as in ages. I guess they dug deep in the customer email list to get everyone who ever ordered.

Same here, they are smart to use every resource available to them. The good thing about that too is it could be letting people know about what's happening that had no idea and give them a chance to buy before it's too late. Even if they do find alternative shipping they know it could be months and be much more limited than the income flow they are used to.

    Hi all,

I have been vaping for 12 years but the DIY bug only really hit me recently.

One of the aspects of DIY that really interests me is the opportunity, however futile, to try and recreate juices of years gone by that, either were discontinued, or for whatever reason just don’t taste the same. The diketones scare of 2014-2015 changed the recipes used in bakery, custards and other sweet juices and as a result they lost that certain dimension and richness the affected juices had. Five Pawns as an example just don’t taste the same time after they changed their recipes following their own disrepute from having diacetyls in their juices. Castle Long is not the same juice it used to be.

two of my favorite juices were Heathers Heavenly Vapes Gandalf/Legend and Pirates Booty back around 2012-2014 before those flavors changed into more straight forward sweet NETs.

would anyone have any ideas or tips on how to recreate these juices?

I know these juices were NET tobacco’s but it wasn’t the tobacco that made them the wonderful complex concoctions that they were. It was the blending of Sweet confection-based flavorings that made them unique and very popular at the time. I sense that there’s some Ethan maltol in all HHV NETs even to the present day. It is pinning down the other flavors that I am struggling with. Based on some research I did the super concentrates from vaping Zone and flavor express tobaccos at flavorjungle could be used to emulate the tobacco flavoring.
I would also ask here Liquid Extraction From Tobacco

There are some really knowledgeable NET folks over there who may be able to help you out.

And IIRC there are folks there who also enjoyed Gandalf/Legend and Pirates Booty.

@Fredman1 is heavy into extraction and creation of NET's.

Yeah, I know you are a fan of it. You were right, it is very tasty. I'm not sure I could vape this every day, but definitely good enough to be in my rotation. Even the VTA Lemon Tart is good enough to vape by itself.
Have you tried lemon cream wafer-cnv-I think it's very good.

I know it's universally loved, but I'm trying to streamline. One is sitting in one of my many carts somewhere, but I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger. It's a plastic pod--and love my Z coils in glass tanks. They just taste better to me.

The whole plastic pod thing is throwing me too. Even though this new plastic seems much thicker/ stronger/durable than plastics used back in the day and glass probably has a much better chance at cracking or breaking... I overloaded on spares for my new Prime X because well they are plastic. LOL!

My inner voice is telling me to go buy another 10 boxes. Help. I do not want to pay another large credit card bill and if I start I might not stop. I have wakened the shiny itis beast inside.

Same! I did a serious amount of stocking up in 2016 and backed off ECF for years because of impulse buying the ouuuuushinney lol! I have tried to approach this mini-ish stock up in a practical manner because (lucky) I still have so much but my bank account is still screaming.

    Morning, all.

Sheesh, another spring day, heading into the 50's. But scheduled to drop soon.

Most of my stash isn’t great stuff.

Well, if it works for you when you need it, it might be great! Most of my mods, both in use and in stash, are older. Some don't even handle TC at all (which is fine by me, since I don't, either ;) ) Like some others, I started my prep before the 2016 date, building it as mods I used went out of favor on on sale :) And, of course, building the nic stash as well.

I agree (I know many might tell me to not say doctors are not always right but sometimes you have to take control of your own health) My first day on high BP med (Lisinopril) I almost died (no joke) I took my own BP and was feeling super dizzy and couldn't walk... eyes dialated (I have it written down somewhere but I think my BP went down to 85/45) Now I take half a pill and it works great. I feel that people live in fear and "big pharma" is exploiting this. Don't get me wrong... meds can be great (and save your life) but do your own homework and make some choices yourself if you are having issues with meds.

Some years back my PCP and I had to retune my BP meds, had a similar reaction to Lisinopril. Yeah, diastolic gets too low, you die. Not good medicine! We (doc and I) got off that one in a hurry. Yep, we all react differently to meds, and the docs really ought to know that!

One of the aspects of DIY that really interests me is the opportunity, however futile, to try and recreate juices of years gone by that, either were discontinued, or for whatever reason just don’t taste the same.

Good suggestions above, and you might also try a web search for "recipe name clone" for other possibilities.

I have a half dozen Minifits which I like mostly for out and about but still use one at home. I haven’t had one die yet. I also have several iSticks from 30- 60. I have no problem using them at all but find myself using my newer stuff.

My GGD turns 7 this month and I just ordered her birthday present. A microscope. I had one when I was a kid. You couldn't get kids play microscopes back then, mine was a battered old used item. Paint was peeling off and parts were bent and loose, but I loved it.

The one I got comes with bag of slides. Up to 1200 mag. I have to get it out and test it. Several reviews said they got them with missing or non-functioning parts, and it contains a rotary razor blade which several kids had sliced up their fingers with. It should arrive tomorrow so I can play with it this weekend.

And I'm planning to finalise by BCF order this afternoon.
