I am catching up the best I can :) As you guys know I did not feel very good last week with anxiety and allergic reaction. Monday I woke up feeling more myself and better than I had felt in a while. Minutes after I was up I saw I had a missed call and voicemail from my Mom. I could tell it was something bad by her voice. Monday was a terrible day and perhaps one of my worst days I have ever had in my life. My family had a very surprising and shocking death....and it has been very hard. I wanted to tell you guys so that nobody would worry if I disappear here and there and worry where I was.

So sorry to hear that.

And - Here I thought I was the only one . . . THANKS - for helping an OLD MAN, who is thinking he is LOSING HIS MIND (and NEEDS to stay "Insane") . . . Just Sayin' . . .
no you are not the only one. He might have known what he meant but the average person has no idea which threads he used to be on and why he was missing peeps. Believe me, it was worded that way.

Is that actually appropriate? lol

That's like going onto a KFC thread and asking for the 11 secret herbs and spices isn't it? :)

Not really, Not anymore. They are going out of business--online, for now. They are going to try to survive with their B&M store only, but things are really sad over there. I'm not suggesting you ask for recipes--too early for that. But for advice, perhaps.

Would this one be suitable for my JACs?
Yes.

Also, can you replace a 75C with a regular 75 if need be?
Nope. Different button placements between the two. When I last checked they sold all the 75C's.

Simple solution......buy another 75C mod.

And what about screens? My DNA mods are JACs, an S-Body, and an original Thor. At least I think that's all I have.
From the looks of it they ship with the screens But you might want to double check with them to be on the safe side.

Just remembered the Inboxes, so that's two more DNA 75s.
I have a couple of those too. Regular DNA 75's.

Think we bought ours at about the same time.

Whoops. I forgot the Therion (how could I??).
Starting to feel like I am putting a puzzle together here. :D
I know where that one came from, IIRC. ;)

I better check for more of your posts before hitting reply.

And the Solare. Lord, how many of these things do I have?
I have a couple Solare's too. Think we also got those at the same time during their clearance sale.

Any more of your posts on this page??? No. Probably more on the next page though. I will know soon enough.

Alrighty then...

For spare boards I have 2 spare DNA 75's, a couple DNA 60's and a DNA 75C. I figure that's plenty.

Worst case, if one fails and Evolv no longer does repair work I will save the mod for parts. I may contact them to see if they are still planning to do repair work.

Also a screen may still function if the logic board fails and vice-versa. Same-same mod body parts are interchangeable.

:)

Well, that was a long post.

I have no idea what you're talking about, but it was a fun read.

A good bread pudding is a thing of beauty.

I ate a ton of bread pudding when I was a kid, guess it was cheap and made from simple ingredients. We were still on ration cards from the war when I was young. Don't remember anything about it except that I loved it. Haven't had it since I left home.

The source. ;)

Funny but true...In the outerworld covid thread I mentioned how you spoke like 6-7 languages fluently and referred to you as "our Pretty Bird" instead of Katya. Tibs quickly posted that same pic and asked "this one?". I posted about the language games we were playing last year and how you disappeared for like an hour (or more) to checkout some Sanskrit.

How many Pretty Bird's are there on ECF? Only the Original as far as I know. You!!! :)

 I did save the "Dvarw" proper pronunciation sound file! ;)

It was a great way to use up the day old bread bakeries used to sell cheap. Just add a few eggs from your chickens, and whole milk... the only real cost was in the sugar which if I recall correctly was rationed during the war here in the US. Amazing the resilience of people back then under such difficult circumstances.

Pain perdu. Lost bread. We never wasted food, either. You had old bread, you made pain perdu, French toast, stuffing, meatloaf, croutons, breadcrumbs... Waste not want not. :)

Tibs quickly posted that same pic and asked "this one?".

Aww... My dearest friend Tibs. I've known her literally since the day I joined ECF--she joined a day before me. We've been friends ever since. We just celebrated our "joint" 11th anniversary here.

If Zazie would have had everything in one tidy post my reply would have been way shorter.

Blame Zazie, it's all her fault!!! ;) I'm sure Fran would like to see someone else here get blamed for a change. Poor Fran. :(

Boards, it was all about DNA replacement boards. :D
Not mRNA.

    Somewhere between here and there
I'm glad I'm not the only one. It's sitting unloved in a Vapocalypse box, barely used and unloved. Poor thing.

    Good morning, Mixers. :)

I sold mine on the classifieds.

Thanks. But if you congratulate me, you have to congratulate her, as well. We're ECF twins. Actually, we used to be triplets--but the third one has disappeared years ago. We still miss her. :(
