I've had the SSA Ice Creams on my list for awhile. So do you combine the LB with the SSA and TFA to make your base? I kind of avoided getting TFA because of some reports that it could be a bit peppery.

I have not tried that, but it sounds like it may be a good idea. I have not made any ice cream bases other than Nick Evan's (Nevans) version.

You are correct, a lot of people get "peppery" from VBIC tfa and CAP versions. Luckily, I don't even at high percentages.

I've just been trying to research good base mixes recently, which is why I was asking those questions. I want to find a few good recipes for bases that will allow me to mix more efficiently. For instance, say I get a new fruit flavor that I want to try out. Instead of doing a SFT or searching for a recipe, I can just add it to a base that I already like. If that makes sense.

    Makes sense to me.

I need to do that myself.

There is a Banana Leche recipe in Zazie's Blog that I have subtracted the banana flavors from and used that as a base for coffees, butterscotch and caramels..

I have a bunch of favorites (other mixes) I should try that with as well.

Please let us know what you come up with for good bases.

Ha! I was hoping you guys had some good ideas! But I will keep you all informed of anything good I might come up with.
I've never been interested in bases other than cheesecake so I have no knowledge. My cheesecake bases are my only bases. Reading this conversation I have become interested in a good ice cream base. I have at least one of the SSA flavors. Have to check that out.

If you do order from Heartland they have that 5% off coupon code: Vapemag...
I already have a lot of heartland and already used that code. Just wanting to try something different. Thanks!

You can try firstorder1 for 20% off. I don't know if it'll work or not.

ELRECIPES used to get 15% off, I'm not sure if it is still valid?
I don't think they offer free shipping.

None of the codes work...I'm still thinking...not sure if I'm ordering any more. Thanks for trying!!

So I noticed the HHV juices have a lot of separation and they are so full I can't shake them. What to do...what to do. I don't want to transfer them to a larger bottle and I don't want to heat these in a warm bath. I think I'll just keep moving them upside down and back up to see if I can get them shaken.

    I just noticed it's about quittin time....woohoo!

I just got back from getting my first vaccine shot. No side affects yet.
Which one did you get? Moderna, Pfizer, or J&J? I didn't feel anything except a sore arm the next day for the first shot. The second Pfizer shot I ran a 99.3 fever with chills and achiness about 24 hours later, but it was gone the next day.

I put my new flavors in elr. Three of them I knew were reorders, but I also ordered more marzipan and I already had it. But for that cheap price it was worth it. I'm up to 262 flavors!

You’re almost half way to the bottom of the rabbit hole.

LNW and MFS are the only two nic vendors I haven’t tried. I guess more popular vendors that is. I’m sure there are more I don’t even know about. I have nic from WL, NN, River, and Heartland. Is the LNW nic good?
It's the only nicotine I've used. It works for me.

    P.S. I have salts.
