Did you have bad side effects with the first?
Fortunately, not really. A bit of a headache that day, and a day or too without any pep. Seems to be heading that way now.
Hopefully you'll have none.

I'm guessing the only issue was crossing lake Pontchartrain twice. ;)
That evil bridge! To me anyway. I hate the long part where you can’t see any land at all. It’s creepy.

They usually get called something else that would get censored out. They’re evil little beasties
Very evil. They have a nasty miserable bite. I just put apple cider vinegar on the bites. It's like the itch is always there...and I will scratch mindlessly when I don't even know I'm doing it. Wakes me up. Just awful. I have never experienced this and I hope to never again. Much much worse than a mosquito bite. I'm lucky I'm not covered up with them.

Believe it or not those little (bleep) things really went for blood last year here in SE WI. Usually, we don't have many of them (just millions of mosquitos). I'm trying to attract more bugs/birds/toads/frogs to eat mosquitos.
When the kids were little, they would go on a toad hunt every night at the lake on our deadend gravel street. They’d bring them all back in a contractor bucket and set them free out front. Mom asked what they were doing. Bug control. They really thought they could catch enough to get rid of the creepy crawlies

Not a new picture, but same bridge... looks like it goes forever.

I've been on that bridge many times. I don't like it either. And there are aggressive drivers everywhere, but my experience is that in NOLA they are AGGRESSIVE! I will never forget driving into NOLA one night, pouring rain, over the bumpy roads headed to Metairie, and I couldn't see from the rain and people were passing me slinging all this water over my car. I was almost in tears.

My wife held a pillow over her face last time we crossed.

Even with the pillow I was still able to pick out some choice :censored: words directed my way. She was not happy with me that day.

I love bridges. The bigger the better. :D

LOL I know I'm dreaming of flying bug control. We have garter snakes now. Last year they moved in.

It was a challenge, but I caught up with the thread.

@FranC you mentioned a cookie recipe with FA Cookie and TFA Toasted Almond.
I just got toasted almond and haven't used it yet.
I want to come up with a relatively simple almond milk recipe, tried one with FA Almond and various creams like Milk & Honey and Fresh Cream, and added a touch of hazelnut v2 to give it a slightly nuttier flavor. I may have added a touch of Torrone. It was ok but has room for improvement. Going to try mostly the same recipe with the Toasted Almond added and no hazelnut.

I still haven’t caught up. Look how far back I am to be replying to this now!

I mixed a Lucena Five Pawns clone with a 5 star rating on e cig recipes. The recipe is from 2015.

It smells way too strong of hazelnut.

I think I just figured out that recipes from before 2015 are probably designed for MTL vaping and are stronger in concentrates.

I haven’t tried it yet and will let it steep for a few weeks.

If anyone knows a good accurate recipe for Lucena from Five Pawns I would appreciate it. It was my favorite Five Pawns juice before they discontinued it.

I forgot to mention this yesterday, BCF was interested in having me pay for my 2nd order, to replace the order that we thought was lost. They said they were going to contact me to pay with paypal. I never heard back from them. :?:

I finally got a response from BCF, here is what they said. :)

I am sorry for my delayed response regarding this issue. We thank you for the honesty, and you can keep the replacement, no charge. We believe it's not fair to you or your fault the post office didn't deliver it initially. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and hope you have a great day.

    Thanks

I do. Every time I have to go across it.
I crossed Lake Champlain in a ferry years ago. At Champlain’s widest point you can’t see land crossing the middle parts of the lake. That’s when I found out I don’t like to not see land.

You'd probably just love the Sunshine Skyway Bridge here in Florida then. I hate that thing with a passion. I'm always white-knuckled if/when I have to drive across it. You can Google a picture of it, but make sure it's the newer one, not the older one which wasn't as high. (They had to build a newer one because several years before...a large ship with a pilot who was under the influence of laced pot, had hit a main support piling or 2. A huge section of the highest, center part of the bridge collapsed. There were lots of fatalities...because a bus, semi-trucks, passenger cars, etc. drove off of it, since they didn't know the top center section had collapsed). It was a horrible event.

Remembered years ago driving my little VW beetle across it...as the last car that was allowed to go on it headed in my direction, before they closed it to traffic...because a really bad, windy, thunder and lightning storm was beginning to hit. I was literally being blown from 1 lane to another!! It scared the bee-gee-bees out of me. Once I got to where I was headed...I had a Jack & Coke right away.
