I wonder if I dilute it to 25mg/mL if it would smell bad? (I'm talking about River Supply nic) I'll try this soon. I don't see using 2 liters for insecticide. I have read that certain nicotine will have a earthy smell. Hey, right now I cannot smell a thing (post covid) so I'll think I'll wait for the experiment.
Now would be the perfect time to use it up, since you can't taste or smell it anyway.

    YUM!
I'm just looking for something very simple. Like a cappuccino. And maybe a fruity tasting flavor. Just want to use ONE flavor. Any suggestions?
At the moment I’d say try a mango flavor. Single flavors are kinda hard for me cause I rarely vape a single. Or a cappuccino would probably be fine.

It's about 3 hours and 24 minutes from me, straight shot heading west. I like Oklahoma highways.... smooth and fast.

I'm just 2 hours of highway driving away and might actually have to make the trip if River Supply doesn't come through with my order. I'll have to squeeze 2 more liters of 250mg/ml nicotine in my little freezer somehow, and just eat less frozen foods. Ugh this is unnecessary.

    Hi guys,

I have a question about DIY juice inventory management. Ever since I started vaping the aim has always been to try and vape what I have. Being a fairly compulsive spender on vape gear and juice I am always over-stocked but the mentality has always been to vape what I can, throw out what gets old but always give juices a chance. In other words, I’ve adopted the common real world function of not being wasteful. After all, we pay good money for commercial juice.

However, DIY changes the entire equation. In the last month I’ve purchased about 70-80 concentrates and have started to make recipes and solo blends. My inventory of juice has exploded and that’s only after 2 sessions of juice mixing. There are so many recipes and solo blends I still want to make. There is no way I can vape through all the juices I am making along with what’s left of commercial juices.

The question I want to ask is how do you all manage the ever increasing inventory of juices you have made? Do you throw out the ones that aren’t enjoyable? When do you make the decision to purge a juice? Do you give them away to friends? Do you just horde them for years and hope you get to them one day?

how does ejuice inventory management affect your production of new recipes? If you have such a vast inventory of juice do you restrict how many new recipes you make or just take a break from DIY?

I use to waste a lot on recipes in the beginning. I have since learned when I mix a new recipe, or trying new combos to mix in 8 to 10ml batches. If a mix turns out well after steeping 3 weeks and I am still uncertain if it ages well, I'll mix it in a 30ml batch next time. If it ages well from that point I'll mix it in 60ml batches. If it's so good that I have to have it on hand at all times it's mixed in 120ml batches.

The 120ml sizes for me, may be a 60ml batch for you. I seem to vaguely remember you vape more of a mtl style, so less juice consumption.

If I have to toss something I do, but hopefully with what's stated above it's usually only 7mls of eliquid going down the drain.

I bought all that stuff and here I sit using my old Jac Vapor mod, vaping a single flavor mix of 555 Gold INW in a mtl tank.

My vape drawer looks pretty though...

    I hear ya matey.

I have a Valyrian Pro II sitting on the Odin 200 watt mod and right next to that is a Boge cartomizer with 25 mg carrot cake nic salt.

As a more modern yet now outdated setup, I built in my OBS Nano. Don’t anyone tell me RTA technology has advanced since 2015 because the Nano still holds up to modern RTAs. Still like it better than Augvapes Druga which is arguable the best single coil RTA of 2020.

I have 5 OBS Nanos and 2 dual coil versions in my vapageddon storage.

Perhaps I should have slowed down a bit with building my flavour library. I bought this entire box of concentrates in the space of 3 weeks.

The struggle with decision fatigue is real. Lol

When I started I got to excited about mixing and ended up with a bunch of 60ml partial bottles that I never finished. I went back and tried some but if they weren’t good then I’d dump them. I’m currently trying to use up some old mixes. It just gets to the point where I get tired of them and dump what’s left. Now when I mix, I do mostly 10 or 15ml mixes. I only have three favorites that I mix 40-60ml at a time.

@AnthonyB - Normally when I create a recipe I do so in a 10ml bottle. The flavors I choose all get started at pretty low %'s. That way I can add more as needed and I don't waste. It's much easier to be able to add more than to try and dilute an over flavored mix.

Usually when I create something I will only start with a couple, 2-3, flavors and get those right where I want them before I start adding more of the flavors I want. With DIY I tend to think in terms of an upside down pyramid. The flavor you want out front is at the top, everything else is layered down to the point of the pyramid. Works for me.

I like creating my own recipes. There will always be the duds that just don't work out. Even with those I do try to add other flavors to try and improve them, and learn from. Sometimes those just don't work out and I end up tossing them. It happens.

As you get to know your flavors you will learn over time what works best with what. Take great notes with everything you do. Those will come in very handy. If you see others posting notes and info, grab those too, they are useful and do come in handy as well. I'm always grabbing folks info and popping them into text files.

    :)
