I seem to remember you liking the TFA pom but not the FA pom. I might have that backwards though.
You are correct. I actually don't care that much for the taste of pom as a single fruit. I think it will be used for toning down sweetness in some mixes.

Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?
    Happy Easter everyone!
No Easter plans here, staying home, wife is going to a family get-together. I have a sister in town who may visit for a bit.

I made some mixed twisted wire late last night in two different sizes and wrapped seven coils from them, and today intend to change coils in two RTAs. I've had the same pair of coils in a Zeus X RTA for well over a year now.
Later tonight I need to do a little mixing. The Freckled Lemonade was a hit and I was requested to make a couple 120mls of it.
I also have a couple new mixes I want to try, a random stab at a chocolate coconut almond thing, and working on a Cookies and Cream beefed up with extras recipe I will call C&C Vapor Factory ;).

And then there is garden stuff. I had a tree in front yard cut down recently by the city and the stump was just ground down a few days ago. My small patch of grass where the tree was is now covered with wood chips, and I need to transfer them somewhere. Free mulch at least. Also need to transfer some young sage plants to larger containers. My bok choi and kale are sprouting already, they came up in less than a week indoors in small cups.

I like my Brussels Sprouts burnt. Cut in half and sauteed in a skillet until they pick up a lot of color, then deglaze with some balsamic vinegar.
Fully agree on the burnt part. I like the brussel sprouts to have a nice blackened look to them. I generally put oil and vinegar on mine. Or some grated parmesan is also pretty good on them.

What was the word on a sale at Bull City? Anyone hear anything?
Nothing! They are having a facebook contest for a chance on free flavorah. I did participate but know it will go to one of the kool kids. I never liked FB contests.

Cheese DOES make (almost) everything better, like Hittman said.

Had to bring this up, especially on Easter with all the chocolate flying around.
Back around Valentine's Day my wife bought some Bella Vitano cheese dipped in chocolate. I loved it. There were two kinds, the cheese comes in different "flavors", Merlot and Chardonnay. The cheese itself is similar to a parmesan in flavor, kind of sharp, not quite as hard, aged.
I encourage anyone to try this, it sounds pretty strange but was a great food experience for me.
