I have to admit, certain bugs are a no go for me. Spiders though, taste like crab. If you met me in person you would never guess the incredible amount of food I can put away. My daughter is the same...
When her and I go into a restaurant it's on. We'll usually order 4 different meals and share them. I always tell everyone at the table if you don't finish that don't throw it out. I'll take care of it.

My Italian family, as with many Europeans, weren't shy about eating organs. Tripe is a famous Roman specialty. Brains not so much. But, they are a famous French specialty. Sweetbreads too. I love them all. Now, on the other hand liver, unless made into a pate, I don't favor.

My ex wife's father lived on Eleuthera (one of the islands in the Bahamas). We'd catch them at night and he'd coat them in flour and pan fry them.
MA taxes vaping products at 70% starting a few months ago. It was weird because this is such a left leaning state (and don't get me wrong, as I've been one for most of my life until not long ago) that it wasn't even in the local news, since it's become true that if you're on the far left then you tax.
I only found out about it when I placed an order online and when I went to check out, there was a tax on the order which just about doubled the price. It was marked as state excise tax. So, I went looking and, sob, it was a law passed by the legislative fools here. Unbelievable. Clearly they do want to encourage smoking.
So I've thinking about getting into squonking. I don't really know much about it, but I really like the word squonk.
Got my COVID vaccine this morning. Had a rough day (dizziness, nausea, chills and a mild headache but nothing serious) All better now. Get the second one in 3 weeks. It's Pfizer and got it at Walgreens.
Yikes! That is insane. I'll go looking at some vape stores to make sure I'm stocked up. Gov Evers will get his way. I'm kinda hoping the conservatives silences him on this tax.
