Another migraine today but the imitrex was timed better to avoid the aura lights flashing and nap was timed better (just woke up) until after the worst of the imitrex was worn off.
I've got to mix Smokey Amber Plum. I think I can without much brain damage damage to the recipe (3 migraine weeks feel exactly like a concussion).

I got vt milkshake base on my latest order. I haven’t opened it yet but you know I’m going to have to sniff it.
I am willing to bet it smells as bad as the BlueBerry Milkshake. It was not the bb that was the offending smell. It is the dairy part. I have instinctively stayed away from flavors that contain milk products.

:)

I'll be sure not to sniff my milk products.

Tested the Oats and Cream today. It’s NOT sweet, tastes oaty on the exhale, sort of like baked oat bars or cookies. The cream doesn’t have much mouthfeel, more like a skim milk or unsweetened whipped cream (I don’t do much dairy, so this is my best guess comparison). I’ll test it again in a week or two. It would be a good booster to a crust or crumble. I think any fruit would overwhelm it on its own. On a whim, mixed a half a tank of it with a half of hazelnut and cream, yummy!

I would think that anything that had WF Hazelnut and Cream in it would be very tasty. Its just that good.

I was looking for my raspberry last night and discovered that I have half a dozen purilum flavors that I never tried.
Had to laugh, came across my sft NVs yesterday. Completely forgot about them and even ordering the flavors.

Had internet problems yesterday. All is well now but I didn't have my mind on recipe creation so I have nada to mix today unless something comes to me really quickly. However I do have a mix or two I want to try.

Cereal,Biscuits and cookie are out of my area of mixing comfort. I usually fail when I step out of my comfort area but I'm encouraged by the couple cereals I tried. So fingers crossed.

That is due to my lack of organization skills. I have all of my flavors listed on a spreadsheet on my computer at home but I forget what I have. I was hot on the purilum flavors and found out about this thread which led to me forgetting about some of the purilum flavors that I never tried. So in reality, it must be your fault that I forgot.:D

I'm in migraine mode after putting my tree stand up doing overhead work. I hate the pills as much as the migraine except they usually don't last as long as a migraine without the pills. I'm going to ask about "other stuff" at my next appointment. I'm not sure if it will work since my migraines seem linked to my neck now, but the pills are going to kill me as much as I take them sometimes.

Interested in hearing about the Smokey Plum. ;)

Migraine sufferer (runs on my father's side of the family) here, too, Myk! I think the longest that I've had a migraine was a month, it was pure torture. As if that wasn't enough, I also have Ulcerative Colitis, so I am always in some kind of pain virtually every day.

It's been a long time since I've seen a neurologist and I need to find another one, because the one I was seeing was useless to me. Many pain meds make me violently ill (Vicodin, Codeine, & sometimes Percocet), so finding relief is usually elusive, which seemed to annoy my former doctor. Now that the UC restricts my meds even more (no NSAIDs), it is even more frustrating. He finally asked me what I wanted him to give me... Um, isn't that 'your' job to figure out? I have had Imitrex in pill, nasal spray, & injection forms, but timing is crucial for it to work effectively. I definitely need to try "other stuff", too, but I think I need a clue first.

In DIY news, I tried my 10% Lucky Shot last night. It smelled so good, I just dumped some in a Crown that previously had Absolute Creme Brulee in it... :) I decided to throw 5ml in bottle and took it to work with me...

Perhaps, my 10% Lotta Latte won't be too strong for me either. ;) I want to give that a go this weekend. I might just throw some in my tank, when the LS gets half empty, to try out the combo of the two together. Overshot the Butter Mint percentage, so will need to tone that down/add some sweetness, because I'm just getting mint, which is not a bad thing, but I'm missing the buttery-ness. @Letitia , I believe you used a bit of Butter Cream in yours; which company's & how much? I've got 6mg unflavored made up to dilute it a bit and try again first, but I may still want to kick up the buttery-ness anyway.

Cap butter cream .5-1%. Needs a steep. For a quicky 1.5% FA Vienna Cream will tone down the mint but will not add the butter note. Both are good; with the Vienna I add .5% INW shisha vanilla as well. I have large bottle of butter mint I mixed too strong, going to pull off 15ml and add some vanilla bean gelato. Might try another 15ml with chocolate chunks and white chocolate each.

Thanks for the quick reply and for the additional ideas! I made up 20ml of it, so I have enough to play with. I got my BCF order in earlier this week, so I now have Double Chocolate (Clear)-TFA, Italian Cream-HS, French Vanilla Ice Cream-HS, White Chocolate-TFA, Vanilla Ice Cream -LB, Chocolate Mousse-VT, and
Dark Chocolate-VT in my arsenal now, but alas no Butter Cream or Vienna Cream.... Come on, Columbus Day sales!
