I was being somewhat facetious. Being Italian, the name is certainly originally Italian to me. No clue where they're made either.

Truthfully I think the pointy toes are more Hollywood than anything. But many real cowboys do ware them, not most, but many.

That surprises me. I always thought that they'd be useful in nudging the little dooggies along. Plus, I always thought that's why they were called cowpokes.

Just my opinion but I was very interested in that flavor profile... better off mixing it from scatch (I know that's harder but worth it) Don't know about SSA but most people agree FA sucks. I made a "throw together" (mostly pre-made juices) and loved it but still working on a DIY recipe for that.
