I just mixed something with VTA Fizzy Sherbet, called Shattered Lemon. I am waiting to try both the GF Lemonade and the Shattered Lemon in a about two weeks.
I liked the last citrus recipe I mixed but only for a short time so I'm not in a big hurry to mix another.

That's a long time smoking. At this point I've been a vaper long than I was a smoker. And I was never a pack a day person either. I think at my highest point, I might have been a half pack a day for a short while.
    48 years smoking for me

Scalloped potatoes with a bunch of ham and plenty of cheese?
I did consider that one but I just did a scalloped potatoes dish. Going with a ham/pasta/broccoli recipe I've done before. Alfredo sauce and plenty of cheese.

i'm not big on ham but you could in a casserole dish
chop up the ham and some onions layer them on the bottom
whisk up so eggs and pour it over them then cook in the oven until almost done, top with cheese cook just to melt the cheese

I love my Mom’s split pea and ham soup. Sometimes I buy the packaged sliced ham steaks, put it in a baking pan lined with aluminum foil (for ease of cleanup) with canned sliced pineapple (with juice) on top of each piece of ham. Add honey, syrup, or brown sugar (or a combination) on top and bake until done. Quick and easy. Throw in a vegetable or two (or Mac and cheese) with rolls and my son is happy.

I too have gum issues, probably caused by smoking. I get cleanings every three months. I have deep pockets on my back teeth. I told them if needed yank those out, you can’t see them anyway. Bad gums can cause other health issues. Luckily, the frequent cleaning is working.

My teeth are crappy. Had periodontal disease from smoking then over a year of predisone. I will have to spend a fortune if I want implants but was told I have very little bone left. I'll figure it out next year. I'm missing 4 teeth now. One was pulled and the other 3 just fell out. Steroids will destroy teeth fast. :( I'm waiting for the pandemic to lessen. I'm really paranoid since dentists around here will not follow a covid protocol. (Washington county,WI).

:pervy: That’s ok...I have 299 flavors (most never tried) to keep me busy.

Well that's not very many. You probably need to put an order together.

I'm surprised they didn't want to do a deep root scaling with the pockets. I had to have that done when I still smoked. It was painful.

I counted with the help of elr's "flavors used in recipes" feature and I have 137 flavors I have not tried. I need no more!

They did do a deep cleaning...not sure if it's the same thing. That's the very first thing they did. The pockets improved slightly but the main thing is they are not getting worse.

So the program I run had a version update. That's all well and good and there are many improvements. However, all of these step-by-step processes I've been doing for two years to show exactly how to do things in the program will now not match the upgraded program. I REFUSE to go back and redo these. Not happening. They will just have to figure it out on their own. Most look the same but there are major parts that do not. NOPE. Not happening.

Did the steroids give you cataracts? They're supposed to be great at that, too.

I'm not sure if its the same thing or not but they only did half of my mouth at a time and numbed me to do the deep cleaning. It still hurt like heck. I swore I'd never have that done again.

Yeah I had one dentist years ago want to do it in quarters. Then when I went to this dentist they did it all in one sitting. I'm not sure if it's the same. The deep pockets are only on my back teeth. Maybe that's why they could do it in one sitting. I remember it being painful, but manageable. I think they numbed me but I just can't remember. I know insurance paid for it and it was much different than a regular cleaning.
