Good morning :)
Awww.. thank you so much for the happy birthday wishes
It was an infinitely more happy birthday than last year, when I was isolated and completely alone up north while my wife and pup were stuck in Texas. Cards or gifts are perfectly fine, but the best gift was being with my wife and doggo.
Also, the gift of being alive is alright too I guess. I'm more alive/healthy now than I would have been 8 years ago if I had not started vaping and quitting cigs! I believe I am at 8 years now and counting

    Morning all,

We hit 97 degrees here in LV yesterday and it's still 78! I went to bed at 11:30 but couldn't sleep and have been up since 1am. Had a bad day yesterday, maybe today will be better.
Hoping you have a good day.

I started cutting out a small ground cover bush yesterday after work in our backyard landscaping and need to dig out and remove the stump and roots today so we can plant the new bushes we bought last weekend.
I always took out stumps by building a charcoal fire on them. Ordinance might not let you do that where you are.

    I can understand that.
But, stored on my spreadsheet I know I have it.
No need to be concerned about if a website shuts down.

That's a very valid reason to keep recipes on something local so you always have them, not website dependant. Not eliquid recipes but recently a food recipe app/website I had used for 7+ years decided to go to a paid only platform, that wasn't even an option before... So one day when I went to send a friend one of my recipes I got a pop up telling me to access my recipes I had to subscribe to the tune of $15/mo  so hundreds of recipes poof gone, no access, no warning. It was horrible many were my moms and grandmothers.

Can someone explain this to me so it makes some kind of sense? My GD Meg has a son a little over a year old. The boy has Trisomy 18, has a trach, is fed thru a tube. Meg has been living with friends for years but recently she wants a place of her own. Nobody wants to rent to her because she has a small child? She tells them, (My son doesn't walk, talk or cry). She's looked at a lot of places but no one will call her back. She finally found one single apartment she can rent. It's not ideal but I think she's going to take it.

I find it hard to believe that many landlords would have an issue with her having a small child. At least I can't think of a reason they would have a problem with it.

The only thing that makes any sense is it has to do with the child's condition. A liability issue? IDK

From what I understand, landlords can't use a person's medical condition against them in regards to housing. Basically there is a federal law that dictates you cannot reject a possible tenant due to a disability. The same rule would apply to the children of a tenant.

When they just don't call back there's not much that can be done.
