Yup but that was because I used too much. I'm down to trying it drop by drop now.
Actually I'm rather liking the recipe as is. I may pour off a small bottle to try it with.
Speaking of bottles,I have recovered some of my mixing bottles and need to find some new recipes. Mixing on a regular basis insures you always have a steeped juice to try.
@Letitia What Grapefruit do you consider the most tart.
I only have the pink guava that I treat like a grapefruit and RF (SC) grapefruit which I haven't tried. I'm like Mel, grapefruit should have some citrus bite but be sweet and juicy.
All I have ATM is an older bottle of FA Grapefruit. I've done a couple mixes with it but haven't tried them yet. Think I'm going to try the FW Natural Rudy Red
So I spent this evening doing some misc. DIY things. I got my NR and ECX orders over the last couple of days and opened them. My NR order was a liter each of 100 mg nic base, VG, and PG. So first order of business was to pour some nic into a smaller bottle so I can start using it.
I also diluted some WTA juice down to 24 mg since I dropped down to that level.
I looked over the new flavors I got, they all seem to be there. Then I took one of the empty boxes and stuck all my flavors in there, that will be the "flavor box" until I get to a point where I need to organize better.
And finally I made that berry mix I was talking about the other day. Ended up with:
6% FW Raspberry
3% FW Blackberry
No EM or sweetener, I've seen quite a bit lately from some forum members who don't recommend them, especially for new DIYers. Went ahead and put some in a tank and now vaping it. Yay for something that isn't apple! And it's good, sweet enough without sweetener. I was worried that the berry flavors would be too tart. If anything I'd actually like a little more tartness in the mix. Maybe a touch of lemon next time?
lemon, grapefruit or cranberry maybe. The raspberry and blackberry are sweet.
Lime is very nice with dark berries too.
Uh, isn't that usually called pudding?
Has anyone tried lemon grass concentrate yet? Curious about it. Thought it would be good with the basil Pam mentioned.
Maybe back off the Koolada? Might be overpowering the berries.
Nope but I was thinking, cucumber, basil, lime, gin .....maybe
Cucumber would probably be good with the basil and lemongrass . Might need to update the wishlist.
If it's good you can call it anything you want
May have to hold off on another pricy FLV flavor with no reviews
I'm gonna call it one tank half gone
When ordering flavors...it's probably a good idea to write down somewhere WHY you wanted those flavors.
Should be only cooling and no flavor. My total mint, menthol and koolada with fruits is 1%.
