I have a strange desire to try a custard mix. I do have the FA premium.Custards are not up my alley at all so I need help and much guidance. @NolaMel @ShowMeTwice
Maybe look up 5star custard or Nick evans had one but I forgot what it’s called

You prefer a not eggy, lower vanilla custard? I just mixed a new one of TOC’s.I have a strange desire to try a custard mix. I do have the FA premium.Custards are not up my alley at all so I need help and much guidance. @NolaMel @ShowMeTwice
So what are your new numbers. The 2 ic + custard prem is weak. I’m going to double the SSAs, and up the prem by .5. Then, back in the box for a week.
I actually don’t know but I’ll look at TOC’s.You prefer a not eggy, lower vanilla custard? I just mixed a new one of TOC’s.
I didn’t care for the look of Nicks and didn’t see the other. I’m just looking for something simple.Maybe look up 5star custard or Nick evans had one but I forgot what it’s called
Don't wish to sound insensitive but what happened with Skeebo's wife? Hope she is ok.Butch is absent with eye troubles.
SMT is absent because ? Maybe he's busy
Skeebo is absent and I feel so sorry for him and his wife.
She’s definitely the custard queen!I actually don’t know but I’ll look at TOC’s.
This is the latest one…I actually don’t know but I’ll look at TOC’s.
I mixed both samples the same for SSA… so, I think ic at 1%, ic vanilla at 1.5%. Custard prem was at 1%. I don’t want to push it to far and have it forward. So what are your new numbers.
That first one I posted (Old Skewl) is 3 flavors.I didn’t care for the look of Nicks and didn’t see the other. I’m just looking for something simple.
Wrote that one down. That first one I posted (Old Skewl) is 3 flavors.
Whatever it is it’s not good.Don't wish to sound insensitive but what happened with Skeebo's wife? Hope she is ok.

To be accurate I guess you have to adjust for the difference in ml to gram weight. The difference is small though so I guess it's down to how accurate you want to be. I don't worry about accuracy too much, I don't mix by weight but I take several short cuts. Close enough is close enough for me.
Thank you both for the good advice. Not sure I quite understand. Water will be a 1 gm/ml, but unless needing a little thinning if, say, going for max VG, hardly ever used. I plug values for the other items into the calculator, as they are heavier. If only making a 10 ml batch it might not make much difference, but the larger the quantity mixed, the greater the error becomes. Of course, if mixing by volume or drop, not needed.
The values I use, and have seen posted most, are:
Nic (in PG) 1.035 g/ml
PG 1.038
VG 1.260
Flavorings - in PG - 1.038
Plug those into the calculator and it takes care of it for you.
If your scale did not come with calibration weights, do a search for the weight of your common coins, and use those to check the scale.
I wish you much successThank you both for the good advice.
