Dd starts her job tomorrow, it is online. The equipment they gave her for the job is a small laptop, 2 computer monitors, a keyboard, a large phone that connects to the internet and a large calculator. She will be training to start.

I have some recipes I want to make so I’m going to try to make at least a new one every couple of weeks. I’m hoping some of my flavors could be used as one shots. Now it’s time for me to clean litter boxes. Ugh!

Be careful - Although I know you can multi-task, Ya' don't want to get confused and mix a new recipe with anything else in your hands . . . Just Sayin' . . . :tumble:

What kind of work will she be doing? The last 5 years or so before I retired I worked from home and all around the country remotely. I loved it. Now I see that 70% or so of the companies opening back up are doing the same for their workers....even the government has figured out they don't need to spend all that money on office space.

    :)

Hopefully she had enough years in to be vetted. At least have some sort of retirement for when she needs it.

The original recipe is below but I increased my %s.

    The Trinity Vanilla Ice Cream

    LB Vanilla Ice Cream 5%
    TFA Vanilla Swirl 1.5%
HS French Vanilla Ice Cream 0.75%
That’s the one I like the most. The SSA duo is kind of bland to me, even % raised. I was pondering maybe adding vanilla or something to see if that fixed it. It reminds me of ice milk more than ice cream

even the government has figured out they don't need to spend all that money on office space.
And bosses have figured out many people don't need bosses standing over them to do their work. Managers must be going a bit nuts.

Did a quick run to Best buy to get a roku for my youngest daughter. Her lg tv doesn’t offer discovery plus app so grabbed a cheap roku so she can watch it.
I have a tiny one and it works fine.

I’ve enjoyed my lemon mix. I’m on my last tankful now and I’m going to take a break on lemon. While I’m taking a break I can figure out what my next lemon recipe will be. I have the feeling that I could burn out on lemon easily and next time would probably be for good. Therefore I am going to be careful.
In that way, I'm very much like you. Lemon, peach, ect. Love them for awhile and then just take a break, A month later, I love them again (but that's a good thing... don't totally burn out where I can't vape them again)

It is completely beyond me how people pick up textures in a vape. Sometimes, when it comes to DIY, I feel like the little boy in "The Emperor's New Clothes," if he were divorced from reality instead of right.
I have to agree... the YT videos (Noted) say things like "crunchy", "chewy", ect. I just don't get it. "Thick", "mouthfeel", ect I get but textures???

You have an avocado tree? Can we be best friends?
When I was a kid, there were avocado, pomegranate and fig trees everywhere (empty lots, along creeks, ect) All up for grabs. Also, there was a (back then) some fancy houses that were built in almond orchards... they left some of the trees in the back yards... free almonds abound. Basically, so many fruit trees everywhere... oranges, lemons, cherries... many go to waste.

I feel the same. I was thinking of adding vanilla too, which is sort of ironic considering these mixes are supposed to be vanilla ice cream.

I know... playing catch up (too many posts at once)
Always stick to your routines. Yesterday, I rinsed/dried and put new drop-in coils in a bunch of tanks. The last one. I thought I put a coil in but had just quickly put it together (after drying) Filled it (with a special mix of two pre-mades and some extra drops of hazelnut) Juice everywhere! start over... re- rinse, re- dry... argg!!!

I wish we could but there is not a chance. We are a service group, a very large company, and the President said we have to be equitable since some employees can’t do their job from home. By us being there we provide a huge service and growth to the community and surrounding areas, and a positive and supportive vibe to the entire company. Growth and job security equal us being there.

I’m ready to get back to normal. I’ve enjoyed working from home immensely and I’m a different person with changed priorities. I am a better employee for it. But I did not enjoy the pandemic and I hope we can all go back to normal. I’m ready to get back out in the world.
