I have way too many. If I can’t sub then I don’t mix. Once you get up to the number of flavors we have too many flavors just get ignored. I look over my lists and see flavors I haven’t mixed with in forever or not at all. I need to start using the “forgotten “ stuff or piff it.

You want to try a new recipe so you get 5 versions of Pixie Fruit, one works so you have 4 bottles sitting there that will never get opened again. You don't want to get rid of them in case you need them one day. Multiply that by 50 and you got a mess.

I went down that road for a while. My solution now is I have a rack where I keep my flavors. There's room for around 10 big bottles and 30 one ounce bottles, when it gets crowded enough that it's hard to find stuff when I'm mixing I do a purge. Gets me in trouble sometimes. I stopped using Earl Grey for a while once, decided to go back to it and discovered I had purged a couple of full one ounce bottles.

I know some folks who are more adventurous mixers need more flavors.

Here is a mix I do think falls into the weird category (stated with no disrespect, it's a compliment actually). It's one I saw the other night while browsing ATF.

It's described as "A loud and weird mix..." and "A crazy bold mix for a crazy bold profile, no feather touch stuff, no more Mr. Nice Guy."

Blitz - the notes are totally worth the read.

You know that's way too clean and organized right? I'd be ashamed to show the shelf in my mixing cabinet after seeing that. There's one here and one there and a red cardboard box with some more in it.

How is the guava pastry coming along? I am very interested in that one.
Obviously I'm not Fran... but my guava pastry is coming along nicely.

If you want a preview, mix my croissant base and then add 1 drop of SSA Guava per 10ml. The croissant base needs a solid 4 weeks to steep. That will give you a pretty basic idea.

My recipe is still being tweaked and balanced with some other flavors.

If you look at the bottle, 2nd row, actually 3rd row from the right... the only darker than dark one in the front is the one with SSA dessert chocolate. It appears to be getting darker by the day. The light colored juice right behind it is Nanaimo. Both are in clear 30ml bottles.

But I don't have the flavors for your croissant base. I guess I get to add more to the shopping list.

Interested in what you come up with. My croissant base is steeping.

The thing I like about Boston Terriers maybe most is they tend to match lifestyles with their master. If you are hyper, they are hyper. If you are laid back they are laid back. So sleeping in is fine with them ...........mostly.
My daughter’s golden is like that. A total snuggle up and sleep in pup. Mine just lays on the end of the bed and watches, waiting for me to wake up lol. But, he’s still a puppy.

I need to pull a few recipes to mix today. My current batch is just meh. And ( <HORRORS> ), I do NOT have a bottle of cheesecake base steeping like I thought. That’s def first on the mix list.

I reluctantly decided it was time to retest my Berry Pancake mix today. This one I made back in early April. After a month I thought it was just meh and a probable fail.

After a 4 week steep the NF Pancake had a weird 'not' pancake like taste to it. Also thought I used too much WF Boysenberry Raspberry (4 drops) because it was way out front. But, the creams were nice, lolz.

I was gonna dump it, thinking it was a total flop, but thought I should let it steep longer. Good thing I did that.

Today I am getting a really nice pancake, the berries have settled down to where they should sit in the mix and there is nice pleasing cream that adds a decent mouth feel. I need to better balance the flavors.

My next step is to make a new batch with some tweaks and go from there. I'm also thinking WF Boysenberry Raspberry was not the best choice for a berry. A strawberry would likely be much better choice. This mix is going to take some time. :)

I’m assuming you let them know how much that sucks.?
It seems to be a pretty universal time span before a shipper will consider something lost. Maybe it’s the carrier (usps etc) who sets the amount of time and not the vendor? I think Amazon is the only place that has reshipped immediately.

Mine is actually “organized” right now… well, organized for me. And likely as organized as it’ll ever be .I know as soon as I start mixing that’ll go to pot. I need to make a case for the box of MF flavors. Ooooh, and I need to dust too

MF users… do you keep yours in the fridge or cabinet? Every now and then I run across the recommendation for definitely the fridge.

My MF's are in the fridge. I also ran across some who said absolutely keep them in the fridge. But, there were others who didn't think that was necessary.

I only need a few flavors, I hate switching around, as stated earlier this morning, 6 or 8 is enough for me.
That said, I am limiting my purchases. If there is not empty space in here I do not order.
