I’m jealous. It’s a very swampy 88* right now. Technically cooler than the last couple of days, but I have ZERO desire to go outside.
This fine day is a one off that I am thanking my luckiest stars for. Tomorrow it's back up into the 90's and swampy. My AC will be on the Ultra Blast setting. If I would have only known 30 years ago that someday it would be like NoLa way up here I would have moved to southern Alaska.

I wasn't going to mention the sesame thing again but... when I tried it with orange marmalade, I didn't add enough. Boosted it and WOW... it's great! From now on when referring to WF sesame candy in a recipe I will say "tahini" so it will be something like Tahini orange marmalade croissant. It was confusing comparing this to a PBJ sandwich (my bad)

Wait a second, you bake and cook all this awesome food. You should be working pure DIY magic with the 3021 flavors you have (and 34 MF's ;)). -----> Don't throw a brick my way, I'm just teasin' ya. :D

I wonder if it's to get that more realistic breakfast cereal taste since malt is common in breakfast cereal as a sweetener and flavor-enhancer (and for the extra nutrients)
Ok, now I understand. Silly me.

I will continue looking at foodie recipe web sites, and paying even more attention to the ingredients, for ideas. :)

    My son's gf has celiac disease and is an avid label reader, it's the only reason I know barley malt is added to most breakfast cereals. :) on the plus side malt is a mood booster too lol! I know more than I ever wanted to about hidden gluten swear :lol:

    Maybe? I’ve always been leery of the diy flavor after reading reviews.
    I really do think knowing how to layer flavors like ingredients are layered in say a good cake or a pie recipe is the whole key to making good vape juices. I think the thing with DIY is the time it takes to learn each flavor well enough to know what to use and when. And the tricks, tips and whatnot like in real life baking.

    Or maybe I'm just off the wall nuts. :D

    SMT, what have you made so far with the cheesy croissant base?
    Currently I'm working on my guava pastry with it. I have a few different bottles of that going. Other than that nothing yet.

    As for ideas... I want to try a touch of FA custard premium with it. Something in my gut tells me that would add an interesting twist. Also plan to try a little chocolate with it but as a background note. Maybe with a hazelnut too. Other fruits too.

    I know Butch would want someone to try Cappuccino with it. :D

    I think I got that sesame candy on a sale at Gremberry. I don’t think I’ve ever tried it.

    Underground house? Stays 55deg. year round, but you'd have to stay in it 24/7...:cool:
