I can't take the credit. If it wasn't for @Sugar_and_Spice and the notes she posted (from her lemon cookie, IIRC) saying how shortbread reduced the sweetness I would have never known.

I made 30mls back on 5/27. It is good and the shortbread does reduce the sweetness. And it's good on it's own too. I am going to play with increasing the shortbread for a cookie idea I've been tossing around in my noggin'.
Going to try mine soon, I did add a fruit to it.

I never cared for Cruise. I think it's that way with most books though. Look at the task Peter Jackson had with doing the LotR and Hobbit movies. I read the books and enjoyed the movies but it had to be really tough trying to figure out what to leave out of the films. And I think it's that way with most book to film projects.
It's nearly impossible to compare books with film and TV. They are just entirely different storytelling mediums. I personally don't care at all if a movie is a lot different than the book, so long as I find the movie to be enjoyable.

Work is going a little too smooth today. I'm waiting for something bad or at least stressful to happen.
Stop thinking about your dream, nothing is gonna get ya. :D Smooth Friday's are good Friday's.

    Boo!!!

Besides your dream was probably just a bunch of zombies chasing you for a nic fix and some vape gear.

They failed to prepare for the Vapocalypse and know you have The Stash of a Lifetime and far beyond into the zombie afterlife. Word on the street is they don't like BT pods either.

The cortisone shot in my knee didn't actually hurt. It felt more like my entire knee was going to explode. Very unpleasant.
I had to have those in my ankle for a while...uggg I hated it....

I don't know what they are going to do about my knees (and back at this point) because I honestly don't think surgery will really help much when the bones themselves are deteriorating
so I mean ok, you replace the joint and then what when the bones around it are crumbling too....I guess eventually I'll be more metal than bone

I don’t have anywhere near your health issues. It’s just my knee pretty much. Doc showed me the X-rays. Pretty scary.

Me too. I'm taking a day off Monday so have a long weekend. I have this one machine that I've never worked on before and got a printed circuit card in for it but it didn't work so had to call the manufacturer and get another one for it. I have to install it today and it's a PITA. I have talked with a factory engineer and he said it's odd that it didn't work and still does the same thing. I have my fingers crossed that the new one works and I can put this behind me. I have a pattern of letting work stuff like that stress me.
Well that's understandable...if a machine stops on a production line then the money loss is significant....don't quite know what you do but I know machine repairs are quite a responsibility...good luck with it!!

Thought I'd post this in case anyone needs plastic bottles (PET, LDPE, HDPE), screw on regular lined caps and/or dropper caps, black phenolic polycone lined caps, the twist-to-open yorker type dispenser caps (1 of my favorites), and/or a variety of other containers, packaging, etc. You can order things by the each, by the dozen, pack of 48, or in bulk quantities. They always have FREE S/H at only a minimum $25 order, and for today only...even the normal $5.95 handling/packaging fee is waived!

I've ordered from them in the past, and gotten some really good deals on their bottles, twist-to-open caps, and polycone lined caps, etc. They have a variety of natural HDPE and LDPE cylinder shaped, Boston Round shaped, and Bullet Bottles that are great bottles for dispensing PG and VG especially, when you pair them with a twist to open cap. I have and really like the 8oz ones in each type, but they have other sizes, too. They're very easy to squeeze (especially the LDPE ones) to dispense any liquids. I got some in the past from OSDIY and got hooked on them.

They also have a limited selection of glass bottles. They don't carry eliquid type bottles with the thin dropper tips and caps on them, but do have some that come with the eye dropper caps.

Also, for anyone who does at home crafts (soap making, lip balms, lotions, essential oils, bath bombs, etc.) they have all the supplies for doing them, too.

My day started well enough then I started to feel iffy when out shopping.....even worse when got home...temp 39°C.....another lung infection. Dosed up on paracetamol and antibiotics so feeling a bit better. Certainly ruined my day...it's happening every three weeks or so due to other health issues....oh well it is what it is and I should feel better tomorrow for my mixing :)

Probably, most definitely, not alone here.. but seeing the phrase 'Shipment on Hold' with a package shipped via DHL gives me high anxiety. It's not vape related for the sake of this forum and thread, but DIY related. Ordered an item from France, and I want my damn package now and secure in my own hands! Lol it's so close but so far away. Currently in package purgatory about 4 or 5 hours away. /rant
