I hit reply, then backspaced until I had erased most of the original quote. It’s certainly less user friendly than a laptop/desktop with a mouse. Probably a much easier way to accomplish that, but I am not particularly device proficient lol.
I was confused when you said something eons ago about picture sizes on posts. Mobile doesn’t seem to have an option for file size, or however it’s displayed. That’s when I realized you were on a computer, not tablet or phone.

If you can drag to highlight just what you want to quote...and then click Reply that pops up, it should copy and paste just that into the box where you'd write your comment or response. Will that work on a mobile device? That's how I just grabbed and posted what I did from your post.

Sometimes that works great, but getting the part I want with a stylus can be either easy peasy, or darn near impossible…. Never in between. It’s hitting the exact spot with the stylus that’s tricky, I think because the area I’m working with is so small. My kids however could type their dissertation on a phone lol

I'm not sure if our settings are different, but when I quote and reply to a large post, it doesn't show all of it. It shows the first couple of lines in the box, then it says "click to expand".

Is that not what you are seeing?

That drives me crazy. I wish they’d put a short description. At least on older flavors you can get an idea from the reviews

Mind you....you can't really trust the seller. Chefs do it well but they all tend to sound amazing!!

I'm not having "an issue". Just wondered about the difference in quoting and posting using a mobile device vs. using a laptop or desktop set-up. The quoting of whole, lengthy posts was just something I mentioned that bugged me...mainly because I write quite a few long ones, and they take up so much space again...when someone then quotes the whole thing.

It doesn't take up a lot of space unless you click expand.

Easiest thing I can compare it to is: You can't see all the nic base in a full, white, HDPE Liter bottle...from the outside of the bottle. But it's still in there, taking up space inside the bottle.

In any event, I'm finished working on "the rocket".
