Is the RF Soda Base suppose to add a carbonated or bubbly effect similar to FW Pink Champagne.

I mixed up the Very Bery Soda recipe mentioned here a couple of weeks ago. And I’m just not getting any type of those effects.

The total flavor is a bit lower than I enjoy too so I’ll probably increase it. But I’m not sure if I should increase the Soda and/or add Pink Champagne

Thanks Here’s the recipe...

I LOVE RF Soda Base but think it is way too high in this recipe. I never use it higher than 2%. That recipe reminds me of a favorite of some of my son's friends. It is a remix of naked 100's Very Cool. I think it would be good with 2% RF Soda Base added.

10% Menthol Solution 1% (optional but Very Cool does have menthol)
Blackberry (TPA) 2%
Blueberry Wild (TPA) 4%
Cotton Candy (10% EM/Ethyl Maltol) (TPA) .75%
Raspberry Sweet (TPA) 3%
WS-23 30% .75%

I definitely get the perception of effervescence from RF Soda Base. I also get it from FW Pink Champagne. You won't ever get actual carbonation in an e-liquid but some receptors on the sour taste buds pick up that perception of effervescence for some. Try it at the lower % and see how you like it. Maybe it isn't for you.

SFT of Soda Base does taste sweet but I don't find it sweet in a mix.

Plans for today have an early start. I got my Chocolate Cream Cookie mixed already. Up next is trying the cornbread. If I like it then I will mix the tentative recipe I have. Also need to mix the strawberry cookie. I have pieces of several other recipes I have to finish sometime also.

Biscuit and cookie have expanded my list of base flavors (flavors to build on) like Cheesecakes/tobaccos etc. I'm hoping the cornbread will give me another base flavor and I'm about to try it. I'm pretty happy with the cookie and biscuit recipes I've done so far.Always nice to expand the assortment of stuff to vape.

Trying the cornbread and it's not bad. A very mild flavor. Doesn't taste like cornbread to me but maybe that's a good thing.Really don't know what to think of it and not sure if it's strong enough to make a good base flavor.Thinking I'll go ahead and do a small mix for giggles. Got my strawberry cookie mixed also.

Pity you have your sweet aversion. A bit of butter, a sugar note (sweetener), and/or honey; and I bet you could have a passable bakery vape.:D

It's not so bad. I've learned to live with it and there's lots of stuff I can vape just fine. I do you FLV Milk and Hnoey also.

I put a little biscuit in my little cornbread recipe to give the base a helping hand.
