Tell me, which vendor makes acorn flavor? What percentage would you use it with the nuts and the corn?
Ha!

Acorns: they're not just for squirrels anymore. If you thought that squirrels got to have all the fun, then you might need to rethink that. There are so many uses for the acorn that maybe you've never thought of before.

NF (Natures Flavors) makes acorn concentrate. They are water soluble. I have a few NF flavors but no acorn.

Squirrel's Delight (name courtesy of @Territoo)

NF Acorn 1.5%
FA Nut Mix 0.5%
FA Corn 1%

Good luck

If I had any of those flavors, I'd actually try it. Then perhaps Zazie could blog it. I'd call it Squirrel's Delight. :D

    This is just nuts
    Well... "Nuts!"

Gen. Anthony McAuliffe acting division commander of the 101st Airborne Division troops defending Bastogne, Belgium, during World War II's Battle of the Bulge, was famous for his single-word reply of "Nuts!" in response to a German surrender ultimatum.

Yeah, I remember reading something about Chef rebottling Fa years ago as well, but I think they sell it under a different name, and it's cheaper than the Fa bottles.
What kind of recipe do you use corn in?
Cancel that!!! Found the answer as I plowed through the 10 pages I was behind.

Has anyone's packages ever gone to Alaska for a stay?

One of mine has gone to Alaska before! But...it was something I ordered and had shipped to Alaska, instead of taking it with me up there on the plane. :D
It was for a friend up there that I was going to help get started with DIY. I know that's not what you meant, but...it was a package that went to Alaska, so I couldn't resist.

I never found a root beer or root beer float that I liked. Let me know if the banana helped, as I have both in my tiny stock

Same here! I have tried root beer in both store bought and in DIY efforts and it always taste like black licorice to me.

Both of you might want to give OSDIY's "One Shot"...Old Tyme Root Beer a try sometime. To me, at 5% it tastes like the old-fashioned A&W Root Beer did.

I came up with this easy-peasy recipe years ago for a root beer float, and I still like it. Many people use the TFA Root Beer Float flavoring singly, too, but I like more Ice Cream taste in mine. It's in Zazie's Blog.

    Root Beer Float
TFA Root Beer Float - 5%
    TFA VBIC - 2.5%
A friend likes a little TFA Sweetener in hers, too.

I want to try the SSA Ice Cream Vanilla in it sometime, instead of the TFA VBIC, to see what it does to the mix. Might try 1 small tester with some of the VBIC + the SSA ICV, too.

I've been wanting to mention a recipe I got into the last couple of months. If anyone ordered that Calipitter Chow from Mom and Pops it uses it as one of the flavors.

Butterfly Effect by Mindfloodz on ELR
    Calipitter Chow M&P 4.5%
    Custard Premium FA 1.5%
    Devon Cream CCW 1.25%
    Legendary Custard MOL 4%
    Milk and Honey FLV .5%
Super Sweet CAP .5% or .25%
    Whipped Cream SSA 1%

It's hard to describe. Peanut buttery, ice cream like, custard-y, it's kind of weird in a way. Percentages are not as high as they seem when you consider CC is more of a one shot (I mix it at 8 to 12%) than it is a flavor.
A few in the FB group said it was good off the shake, I like it better after a good steep.
Ty! I actually have ALL the ingredients. I was struggling with what to do with callipitter chow

After months of dwarv hype, then the wait for FT delivery… I hope I like at least one of them. I think I got 3 different ones.

I've had one for a few weeks and got two more yesterday. I really like them and will most likely get a few more for back ups.

wow! I was impressed with myself because I found and installed the hardware that holds the handle on my GE refrigerator. I can not imagine tackling what you are doing. Actually I considered giving the fridge (2 years old) to my daughter so I had an excuse to buy another and I so badly want a Bosch.
never had a Bosch fridge, but their dishwashers are great

Don’t get a Samsung. There’s a class action lawsuit on them over the ice makers. My father in law has one and has been fighting it since he got it.
ice makers are one of those mechanical pieces, which like all mechanical pieces, are going to break sooner or later. Don't want one.
I can pull out a couple of ice cube trays without hurting myself.
