I have a stash of KFLs, Lemo Drops and Melo 3s, ended up liking the Melo 3 with the RBA head most, such an easy rebuild plus I can always use the drop in coils. My Lemos always leaked I never could get the wicking right :) was still using my original nautilus tank until I bought a naulitis gt and gt mini.
You also reminded me I have a Melo, not sure which but I should dig it out.

I still use one daily since I bought them on of all things an orange cloupor mini + :) still finding the ECR atomizer head easy to rewick.
LOL, I have one of those cloupor minis but it didn’t come with a tank. Someday soon I’ll have to dig out the Melo stuff.

Had an interesting visit with the kidney doc today. She said I have Stage 4 kidney failure and am headed for Stage 5 but she cleared me for knee surgery. I have to quit 2 medicines, she said hopefully I can get off of Meloxicam after the knee surgery or "You will be on dialysis". I will quit taking it pain or no pain. She ordered more extensive blood work and a kidney ultrasound. Have to drink more water.

Great news for your knee but way bad for your kidney. I wish you much luck.

I hope she will have better answers for you to get on top of your kidney failure. So sad you are going through this.

I should have seen this coming, after a liver transplant they give you drugs broken down in kidneys instead of the liver so it's had a harder time for 28 years. Plus in 2017 when I was in a coma for a week everything shut down including my kidneys and that had to be hard on them.

I'm very, very sorry to hear about your kidneys. At least you've been cleared for that dang surgery after having had to wait for so long. It in no way makes up for the kidney news, but it's better than nothing.

My son finally passed thermodynamics! Third time’s the charm. His test scores were 71 :( and 97 :w00t: and the final was 82 :) so he made 85 total with good homework scores. He’s probably going to make an A in literature (86 on final) but we are waiting on his (ok mine since I wrote it for him) final essay score. Woot! Moving on to thermo 2…o_O:facepalm::blink:

TY all! I am glad to get the clearance and will just go on - I did not for that to come off as a "I feel sorry for myself" post because I do not. I did things while drinking that brought on the whole liver thing so I own that. I will get this knee replaced and do whatever I have to to keep my "kids" from going to stage 5. :thumb:
