    I've played with Pear a few times over a couple years. It can be very similar to green apple.
    People talk highly of the Molinberry Shape Up Pear, I have not tried it. INW Pear is bright and kind of tart green Pear flavor, and was always harsh on my throat even after steeping. FA is milder juicier more like a Bosque Pear flavor, with a little green. I got into FA Baked Pear A bit with Fritter type of mixes a few times and found I like that a pretty well, but I generally throw in a little apple flavor with it. Pear goes with anything apple would go with, I would think.
    I’m not willing to expand my pear inventory. I also can’t taste apple flavors, and I have tried many.

    Not nearly as much as we had hoped, we used these grow bags and won't use them again.. but 30 pounds of taters is not too shabby. Next year I'll use a grow box, these grow bags were way too shallow. I wonder what vegetable we'll have tonight with dinner? :D

    Good afternoon fine fellows :)
    I signed a contract with the devil and bought a macbook pro. My first apple anything. It doesn't replace my 2 desktop PCs, but for a mobile device.. the new M1 MBP couldn't be beat for the price and I actually really like this machine. I used to be so anti-apple. The Apple Tax when it comes to upgrades or servicing still stings though.
    @hittman IIRC you were struggling with Python and that book i recommended you.. well, just in case you're interested.. I just started this program. App Academy Open it's a free version of app academy's $20k web development bootcamp and shares identical course work and curriculum, except it's free, slower, and it's DIY. Another one I'm curious about is this: Your Career in Web Development Starts Here | The Odin Project. I was about to make a major financial commitment, until I realized App Academy has a free program. I had overlooked it because I thought it was just the 20k bootcamp.
    Both are free and no strings, and thought by chance it might tickle your fancy. And maybe if you just wanted to pick up python again.. sometimes leaving something and coming back to it after a while does the trick.
    yes...I had to get one too....physical issues...

    How are you going to eat all those? Time for a 55 gallon drum of potato soup
    They should keep for quite a while, but we'll have to have potatoes with every meal for a while. We have an air fryer which makes fantastic fries, so I suppose we'll have that with some burgers tonight. We have to use up our store bought taters first though.. lol

    I have got a couple of new to me mixes to share..

    First one is

    Black Currant Yogurt

    Cap Sweet Mango 2.00 %
    FLV Black Currant 0.60 %
    WF Mora Blackberry 0.60 %
    FW Yogurt 8.00 %

    And a
    Red Currant Yogurt

    Cap Raspberry v2 3.00 %
    Cap Sweet Currant 1.60 %
    FW Yogurt 8.00 %

    @FranC

    The sweet currant has some sweet but not overpowering by any means.

    The Black currant really started to shine when I added the Mora Blackberry. The sweet mango just cuts the sharpness of the tart flavoring of the other 2 but doesn't add a sweet taste.

    @Zazie

    Pls add to blog

    Thanks

    ps.. Forgot to add both need at least 10 days to steep.

    Homemade potato wedges with salt, pepper, season salt, and Parmesan is good in the oven.

    I can’t decide if I like the Thai one shot. I think I’m going to put it back in the cabinet for now and try a different one. I’ve got the new Blotto rta for review so can use that.
