Tried on a few last time we were in dollar tree but didn’t find anything that would work.

I got something like that and never used it. Just too hard to hold your work in the focus area and lean down to the lens. I saw some of the type they use in labs. Much bigger with lots of movement on the lens arms. But very expensive.
Now I have the ones that fit over your head with lenses that flip up and down. They have built in lights as well. Bit more expensive but work great for me.

That’s another option.
The new Dvarw has little tabs or whatever that are supposed to make it easier to trap your wire. It works the opposite with me because I can’t see exactly where my wire is in relation to these dang little tabs.
Me too... but really strong ones. I also have a small lamp with gooseneck right on my workspace.
If the slot isn't too deep... you don't actually have to wrap the wire around the screw, the screw head just clamps it in.
That particular slot in the pic looks rather deep.
I think I was projecting: I have a hard time feeling thin wire, so I can have trouble manipulating it. I was considering trying 26 gauge to see if it's easier for me to tell that I'm handling it.The lighter gauges aren't as stiff, even after annealing.
Maybe something along these lines?

Weird, but it does go to the right place.
I am air frying chicken legs in the Ninja Foodi, will have string beans too. I figure about 25 min at 390 will do it. I use a meat thermometer to check for doneness. 
That they do. And the one on the left in the pic is on the wrong side of the screw hole. Tightening the screw might push it out a bit...
Nah, not if it's touch that's giving you fits. The heavier and stiffer wire might give more feel to the task for you.
