I forget what a method is called. Exocet or something like that someone will post the right word. Also the chimney can only sit one way and it’s the opposite of what you’d think.I need to revisit my Dvarws. I have a bunch of them, used one for a while with a 2mm insert and it was good, but I haven't mastered the build yet--it can be a bit tricky. I know that there are several methods of wicking those guys. Which one are you using?
I also tried the Ares II and it's OK, but I'm not using it ATM. Drop-in coils are all I need right now. I hope they will be available in the future. If they are, I may never build another rta again.
Funny, I started with drop-in coils, abandoned them for RBAs, and I'm back to drop-ins.
Hello, Randoms!![]()
Nothing wrong with drop-ins. I love my Z-coils. I generally always have one Zlide set up along with my RTAs.Funny, I started with drop-in coils, abandoned them for RBAs, and I'm back to drop-ins.![]()

Couldn't stand it: I changed the insert in the Dvarw FL. The 2mm suits me much better.
Well I vow to never call you Francine again.Fran is fine. It’s the Francine I never liked.

There are three wicking methods for the Dvarw's.
Dvarw RTA Wicking Techniques | E-Cigarette ForumYeah, there's a list of different methods somewhere in the Shiny thread. I'll find it some day.
I think this is best and easy too.Yeah, there's a list of different methods somewhere in the Shiny thread. I'll find it some day.

I need to try the Exocet method again. I tried it once and gave up on it and went back to my old method.I think this is best and easy too.
Pray tell. How do they come around to calling you SMT in rl?Random thought, people in real life, who know me well, call me SMT. Funny thing, none of those letters are in my first, middle or last name.![]()
Hi Kat! If you go to the Shiny thread, find one of Ange's posts, go to her blog, you will see an entry for Dvarw wicking. That has fairly detailed instructions for each wicking method.Yeah, there's a list of different methods somewhere in the Shiny thread. I'll find it some day.
Nevermind, Red got there first.Hi Kat! If you go to the Shiny thread, find one of Ange's posts, go to her blog, you will see an entry for Dvarw wicking. That has fairly detailed instructions for each wicking method.
I usually switch off between the Exocet and Vapdivrr methods. Either works well with cotton or rayon.
