Unfortunately not.. I've been dealing with this issue for close to 30 years. I guess I just took the term intestinal fortitude literally.
Without spending too much time on this. I had diverticulitis a few times years ago. Then a hit of diverticulosis, which required that surgery, which ended up being successful. No bag.
All well for several years then a hit of ulcerative colitis. I wasn't keen on the big pharma treatment, so went to an alternative medical naturopath. Had a food sensitivity (not allergy) test done. Turned out I was very sensitive to a few foods which I certainly ate a fair bit of in my life.
Although I haven't eliminated them completely, I did drastically reduce my intake. All's well for years now. It's well worth checking out IMHO. Better than the alternative.

Tomorrow we go meet a "almost" 8 week old puppy that would be my dog - Izzy is the wife's dog. This dog is named Macaroon. We are also interested in her sister Tiramisu.

We're hoping to get the 10 yr old to go with us but we won't tell her why until we get there.

We want to do away with the cone so we ordered some disposable doggie diapers and they'll be here tomorrow. Problem solved!
One of our dogs used to eat Kongs. It was amazing.

Our little dog Izzy hasn't been herself and keeps chewing at her .... area, and last night the wife found a big lump in that area so we found a animal hospital that will take her in today and we'll see what is going on. 3pm appt. Neither could sleep worried about our dog.
Hope all goes well at the clinic!!

ETA.... I've seen that all is well..I hope that Izzy will recover quickly.

    Morning all

Haven't decided what I'm going to mix yet but I have a few ideas and also a long list of stuff from ATF to choose from. I've also got several mixes I'm going to try and fix and at least one to pour down the sink....yuk

Anyone had any news from @Butch he's on my mind lately and of course his wife too!

Have a good day everyone

What are you random folks up to this evening?

We had company for dinner. It was a lovely evening. So nice to be able to entertain a little again. Finally the kitchen is clean and I'm bushed. Time for my (after) midnight ECF rounds. :)

It was just bad luck that today I found out that a recipe I mixed recently (I posted it, even: The Glaistig) was later revised by the creator, who, among other changes, replaced TPA Absinthe with DV's, which he said is much, much better. Since I've discovered, to my amazement, that I actively like The Glaistig, which very rare for me, I'm eager to try the new and improved version. Oh well. Someday.

DV's Absinthe is definitely the best there is. I liked a lot of their flavors. DV's founder, @Nick O'Teen, used to be a member of ECF. My first attempts at DIY were made with his bases and flavorings. Good old days.
I was considering making absinthe a year or so ago, but then I remembered that I don't drink enough anymore to justify buying the ingredients. (I already had a bunch of them, including wormwood, but was missing veronica, calamus, and angelica).

Easy, Zazie. The Green Fairy will make you mad. Just sayin'... :D

I was SO relieved, it was a infected gland and she expressed it. We have to go back in a week but I feared it was something much worse. TY all for your concern!

I'm so glad to hear that. Poor baby.

Both are super cute. I can’t remember if I shared my daughters new puppy picture or not.
