I'm in my hotel now at college station. My daughter is coming later with supper and we'll find something to watch on TV. I got my VNS turned up and I am pretty certain it's active. Now when it fires, I get a brief tingling in my throat. Kinda like when you are about to come down with a sore throat, but it only last for a few seconds. I wonder what it's gonna be like when they turn it up for the third and probably final time?
Does it affect your ability to speak or just the throat tingling?

Hope you guys enjoy your dinner together.

I'm still pretty hoarse since the surgery, but that is slowly getting better. The hoarseness is worse when the VNS fires, which is a permanent effect. I can temporarily turn off the VNS if I don't want to go hoarse while speaking. I have a magnet that I wear on my wrist and if I hold it over the unit, it shuts it off.

FA Costa Rica Pineapple would be good for the pineapple.

Is it a white or yellow peach?

And is the vanilla a brighter one or more earthy?
Pineapple is just a hint. It’s not forward enough to immediately pick up on it. Peach….I think white peach. It’s a light, crisp peach… not a syrupy, ripe one. Vanilla is earthy, but that could be the green tea. It reminds me of the scent of a vanilla bean, not the taste of vanilla in ice cream or candy. The tea is floral … not flowery tasting like flower flavors, but in the sense that the fruit flavors rest behind, enhancing the tea, but never stepping out of the shadows to truly share the stage. You sense them more than get slapped in the face by them.
I just reread that, lol…. Best of luck figuring out what I mean :?:

    Hey y'all.

Fall is (almost) here, my favorite season! Any favorite apple cider, or maple sugar based recipes y'all want to share?

I found my new favorite squash to grow, Calabacita, or Tatume squash. This baby grows so vigorously, and it's resistant to the dreaded squash vine borers. Haven't tasted it yet, but I will soon, when it's ready. Think I'll dig sweet potatoes next week.

    Happy Friday everyone.

I hope they get your VNS working well for you.

I have hopes for the OOO too.
I haven’t made a bad mix with any of the good bases. Still don’t have a pudding base I’m happy with. Hoping the OOO flavor will help.
I’m sure it’ll be awesome. Because I didn’t order it lol. I have hopes it’ll be a good one too!

It’s a hard one because I don’t want to add a bunch of other flavors to the puddings. It causes the pudding to not taste like a pudding.

I got it and think I understand. So then, something like this...

    FE Green Tea 1%
    FA Costa Rica Pineapple 0.75%
    FA White Peach 0.5%-0.75%
    IN Shisha Vanilla 1%

Costa Rica is mostly a pre-ripened pineapple.
White peach is a nice light peach. Even at 0.5% it will sit more in front of the pineapple.
Shisha vanilla is on the brighter side of vanillas.

I'm going to make this. Wish me luck! :D
