Random DIY mixing and More

Hi all. Got around to digging the sweet potatoes this afternoon. Not a bad haul for putting nine slips in the ground, from some sweet potatoes I had sitting on top of the fridge. 36# total, now I just need to cure them. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Trying the Apricot/Cranberry Croissant and it’s so so, kinda blah. I had hopes for this one to be better but maybe apricot isn’t for me. I will try the apricot solo in my ice cream base before I give up on it. Also I just got this in a tank so it may improve.

I grilled chicken thighs and took a shower, oh yea and a nap. Feel pretty good. Now to try and find Swedish snus here in Vegas so I don't have to buy Skoal for my 2 weeks in the hospital. I have a vape shop nearby and I think I'll get a couple of disposable vapes and the snus if they have them.

I decided to try my Apricot/Peach Ice Cream

SSA Apricot 1.5%
FA White Peach 0.3%

Using Fran's IC Base (kind of, this is still with VT Vanilla Ice Cream)

It's refreshing and tasty. The apricot comes through very nicely. The white peach flavor sits just behind the apricot. They're balanced well. Happy I went with 0.3% white peach. It's a strong FA flavor but a delicate peach. The more I use SSA apricot the more I like it.

I think I will mix that. That would give me a good chance to actually use the SSA Apricot I bought.

Here in CA you can get General Swedish snus at most gas stations.

I’m having the same experience with the blueberry lemon cookie recipe I got on ATF. Just kind of bland.

We took my daughter and the puppy to Petsmart so she could get a name tag engraved for his collar. No question, I like the puppy way better than the ex boyfriend. As a matter of fact, my daughter better stay on the straight and narrow or the puppy might edge her out.
