Glad you are back home. Sounds like you are on the mend.Hi all,
I quit posting a while back because I felt so bad being in the that horrible old folks home. But I am home now and feeling much better! The knee is doing so well I can walk with no assistance - it's the rest of me that is still paying for being in the tiny room with a tiny bed for a month. I fell in the bathroom about 5 days ago (still in the Home) and that wound up tearing me up pretty good and I thought I was ok.
I was by myself and getting up from the toilet when I lost my balance and fell backward. The toilet is in a corner so I couldn't fall far and I didn't - I thought I was alright until about 2 days later when everything went nuts.
So while the knee is great everything else is hurting but being home it is all improving rapidly.
Morning Fran. Today my plan is to catch up on a little work, maybe do a little studying, and do laundry. And probably take a nap.Good morning random folksHave you any plans today?
I had plans to coil my Dvarw but I already did that. I have my last hot drink in hand and thinking about mixing something or working on recipes.Morning Fran. Today my plan is to catch up on a little work, maybe do a little studying, and do laundry. And probably take a nap.
You?
Will it now stay cold throughout the winter, or will you get back into the 80's? Here where we live there is a small window of pleasurable temps. It's hot and then the temps dip down into the mid 70's for about 2 weeks, then BAM (!!!) it's 48 degrees and just continues to fall. We were still in the 30's the last week of April this year.
It's windy here, but not like Amarillo I am sure. I don't know it it's true or not but someone once told me Amarillo is the windiest city in America.
I normally am not a nap person either, but the more I sleep, the quicker I get over my sickness.I hardly ever do naps. It bothers my sleeping at night.
Agree. The 2.5 are the perfect size for me in the Dvarw. I generally use 2.5 in the Brunhilde too.As to the 2.5 coils in the Dvarw.. I have no problem with that size at all. Even when I wind my own I do a 2.5. No problems at all. I always have plenty of wick to block the holes.
They say the same thing about the weather here.Who knows? Generally it will get colder for a month or two...remember last year's storm of the century, but there have been t-shirt and shorts days at Christmas before. This year is predicted to be mild. I certainly hope so. I can't have two storms of the century. The saying if you don't like the weather in Texas, just wait 5 minutes, is generally true.
Yup, I do too.Agree. The 2.5 are the perfect size for me in the Dvarw. I generally use 2.5 in the Brunhilde too.
This is true and you should nap.I normally am not a nap person either, but the more I sleep, the quicker I get over my sickness.
They say that about Missouri too. I always have a hoodie or extra jacket in my car, because you never know if it will be needed. The saying if you don't like the weather in Texas, just wait 5 minutes, is generally true.
I will. I also need to take my dog for a walk. She has been cooped up for a few days since I've been sick and she is getting very restless. This is true and you should nap.
I guess they say that about a lot of states. They say that about Missouri too. I always have a hoodie or extra jacket in my car, because you never know if it will be needed.
The silver version looks really sharp. Although I think I like the dark blue just a bit more. I also have the gunmetal, but haven't actually use it yet.Not going to use it yet but I should clean my silver brunhilde.
I’m sure your doggie will be happy to get out for a walk.I will. I also need to take my dog for a walk. She has been cooped up for a few days since I've been sick and she is getting very restless.
My sbs is silver so it will look good together. My blue one will get put away for now.The silver version looks really sharp. Although I think I like the dark blue just a bit more. I also have the gunmetal, but haven't actually use it yet.
